We're looking for a song with a "classic" sound. Classic can mean anything, really, however, we're looking for a song that reminds of a range of great musical acts like Ella Fitzgerald, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rolling Stones, etc. This is not genre specific at the moment, but it will likely land in the rock/rhythm and blues realm.
This is a paid opportunity.

We are looking for songs that symbolize the spirit of the road. Chevy has been an iconic name in the auto industry for 100 years. The brand was founded in Detroit, in November 1911, by racer Louis Chevrolet and General Motors founder William C. “Billy” Durant, who developed cars that quickly earned reputations for performance, durability and value. Those traits remain at the core of Chevrolet, which is now the world’s fourth-largest automotive brand.
Each model that Chevy produces has it's own character and style, but they all share the same foundation. They are built for the road. In the same spirit, we are looking for songs that remind us of the beauty of the road trip. The sound of the radio turned all the way up and the feel of the wind blowing through our hair, cruisin down old route 66.
There are no specific genre guidlines, as long as it embodies the spirit of Chevrolet and their love for making exceptional automobiles.

NINa has been reviewing guitar driven music for the last 10 years. She writes for her well known Fabryka Industrial Rock Magazine so that she is specialized in industrial rock and metal. NINa can also review rock, metal, dark ambient styles and their subgenres as well as movie and game soundtracks. She will not judge pop, rap, hiphop, raegge, jazz, classical music and several more due to lack of knowledge about these. NINa keeps it honest and fair!

One of our more active music professionals is a LA Music Licensing Firm who is a full service music licensing company that offers quality music for their clients in Film, Television, Advertising, Trailers, Video Games, and more. They have been in business since 2008, and have quickly established themselves among the music supervisor community as a go-to music licensing house. They pride themselves in their ability to listen and understand the music requests they receive, and provide suggestions within a short turnaround. We have seen this first hand in the artists that have submitted to them.
We are happy to hear about the new artists that they signed. They are Golden Boi, Craig McKenzie, Aoede and Marissa Diblasio.
This is great since they will be pitching these artists to various licensing deals. They are able to provide wider exposure for independent artists and offer high quality music in all genres for all projects. They have worked with Fox, MTV, HBO, Universal, Warner Brothers, Paramount and many others. With song placements in movies and series such as Friends with Benefits, Dinner for Schmucks, True Blood and Grey's Anatomy to name a few, they are looking forward to placing our artists as well.
