Antonio J. Cunha who is a BMI Music Publisher shared some great news with us in regards to the artists that he has found through Music Xray. Here is what he had to share with us:
Just want to let you know that we have signed Djevon Earle and we are looking to sign Tiffany Tatum and Peleboy which have all submitted to our opportunity dropbox on Music Xray. Hopefully we will sign the other two artists mentioned within the next few weeks. Our company is making some great strides and hopefully by the end of January we will partner up with an investor. That will allow us to sign some even more artists to develop. And when that happens we will be looking to sign more artists from Music Xray. We are going to partner up with a music concert promoter from San Francisco as well. We have been talking about opening up our own record label as well since we run so many of the functions of a traditional label.
Like to personally thank Bert and Mike for helping us find such great talent. Hopefully I’ll be looking for more artists through Music Xray soon enough but for now we have found such great talent that we are holding off. As soon as we are ready though you will be the source!
Well that is just great news and we are happy to see Music Xray working for Antonio and the artists that he is finding on the platform.

Tinderbox is hired to service the music directors captaining both college and community stations with music (a CD, yes still) we think they'll embrace. As often as possible radio and press are engaged in conjunction with music licensing through a coordinated effort.
It begins with a "Radio Add Date".
Traditionally records for radio and retail are "Added" on a Tuesday in the United States Therefore it's our goal to find the best three or four acts for each given Add (often with a small budget) and represent them to both college and community radio. With the amalgamation of corporate commercial radio there are not a lot of choices for independent artists anymore. That means with everyone offering up bytes of their music - the better acts need to build awareness like never before.
I'm Jon Delange, the owner of Tinderbox. I do much of our television licensing. We are choosy about whom we work with, as I'm certain so are you. The prescription for a successful promoter is in not taking on more clients than they can justly promote. Our six full time and three part time music staff work on roughly a dozen new acts each month - that's it. That's the highest staff to artist ratio I'm aware of.
I am one of several people who review submissions. Details of an applicant's recording, (do they have a professionally manufactured CD for example?) touring and promotion history, including an artist's aspirations of what they are looking to achieve promotionally, are appreciated.
