With upto 1000 bands/artists/orchestras/groups playing over 7 days to audiences of upto 200,000 people per day, we are certain of this festivals place in the annals of History. Why make such a large festival, (especially when one considers this is the first time for this festival)? Simple, we want to change the way Festivals are run and we want to change the music Industry. This can only be possible by firstly making a festival that is big enough for the world to take notice of and secondly by offering every band that plays the festival an option to take a previously unheard of full 50% non-exclusive recording, marketing and distribution contract.
