Ironically, it is how this song was born.
In 2002 hurricane Lily hit Louisiana coast and made land. Winds were high, and the storm was raging. I've never been fond of storms, and here I had found myself alone in a new apartment in a hurricane. No furniture, no lights, no family nearby, no man, and no close friends.
Singing country music, but feeling the blues.
A storm was coming.
And a song was born.
