As an artist, I've submitted for inclusion in many opportunities. Some of these include submissions to record labels, radio stations, touring opportunities, magazine reviews, television broadcasting, licensing opportunities and more. I assume that many of you have engaged in similar experiences, and they have all ended in rejection. Sometimes, those ending results could possibly be that the operators found who they were looking for before they got to you. More than likely, other reasons are because of poor sound quality.
You have mastered your skill in writing, you have no background in audio engineering; however, you want to showcase your talent. Of course, this means that you hope to be recognized. All of the time spent on putting music together doesn't impress those in the music industry; so it seems. It is the sound quality that impresses them. So, you don't have the funds to go to a professional studio. I understand that, but they may not. Evidently, most record labels are requiring you to have a large fan base before even considering you. This fan base is suppose to bring you revenue large enough to have your music professionally engineered. I laugh. Who knows you? Your skill level may be beyond what any person has ever seen; however, your finances hinder you from giving a great impression. Now, I shake my head.
As Founder of a record label (See-M Records), I understand the task at hand when it comes to the struggle above. So, I decided to build a foundation of my own that I may never have to go through that again. From reviews, to distribution, to marketing, promoting, booking shows, and ministering in places I may seem to have no business, I have walked alone. I have walked alone in order to establish something greater than any record label will see in any sound quality. That is ambition to go farther than any company that denies every artist the right to do; Showcase. Therefore, I am developing avenues where you will be able to do what you love doing and be exposed for the great artist you really are.
See-M Records is on the move to spread the Gospel through the entire world, and we want to bring some of you alone. The deal is that you will have to understand that the relationship between us and you is considered a partnership. That makes us a powerful force. Together, we could do anything.
