Street Team Mission is up!

Now you have a chance to get a CD before it hits the shelf. This will be Blood Tribe's second release and now with new vocalist Jonathan Drew and touring bass player Matt Courtney. The Disc will include their first and only video to date for "In Fair Verona" A song that Dj Vulgar (www.Nvasionradio.com) had nothing but praise for and has been quoted on. If you have heard anything from Blood Tribe you will know that this isn't for the faint of heart. 1369:the death and dying chapters is a VERY brutal album and I think that's putting it lightly. So, back to the point I was trying to make at the beginning of this all... Street Team Mission is up! Get the resources, Tell your friends, Tell your Enemies! If you need anything or have any questions as a street team member, please do not hesitate to send us an email or leave us a message here on reverb nation. I try to check these things daily, but sometimes I do get distracted (like earlier) So check back with us as much as you can between now and this fall, because reverbnation records all traffic and we get the numbers. Every time you visit the page, and every time you play a song from one of our artist, so help us out, we want to give you the new Blood Tribe CD as soon as it hits OUR hands! \m/

San Diego was fun....

but now that I'm back, let's listen to one of Herod's tracks, "Dark Deciever" from the 2009 release "the Curse of the King" 5 song recorded at DWS Studios, Niagara Falls, NY this is available at www.darkharvestrecords.com for only $8.99. This five song collection (4 originals, 1 cover song) marks the return of the band following a three year hiatus which saw all members travel new musical roads, which somehow all led back to Herod. The group took a different approach for the first time in its nine year history, constructing the songs on the E.P. as a four piece, abandoning the traditional five member formation that had dominated the prior eight years of the bands’ existence. Stepping to the forefront of the band as lead vocalist, as well as maintaining his role as lead guitarist is co-founder (along with drummer Mike Jeffers) Jesse Benker. His multi-faceted vocal style is the ultimate blend of chaos and class, as he covers every vocal style prevalent in the history of the band. Returning along with Benker and Jeffers is guitarist Greg DiPasquale and bassist Matt Backlas, both of whom joined the band prior to their last release, 2006’s “Rich Man’s War, Poor Man’s Fight”. Herod will be using this release to re-introduce themselves to the worldwide metal audience, and to provide a sneak peak as to what’s in store for their next full length, which they are currently writing for. Upon its release, the CD will be available for purchase via the Dark Harvest website/store, major retailers, iTunes, and any fine indie/underground record store. Cocky, calculating, sadistic, and sleazy, Herod has returned to prove that even the strongest curses can’t kill what is just simply meant to be.

I said Free, and I'm not ashamed...

yes, another windy day in the desert. So since I'm not going outside today I think I'll blog about the Free Downloads you can get here at reverbnation from Dark Harvest Records. Blood Tribe has the very brutal and heavy "The Day I Died" and Sloburn has the scary 'Friday the 13th' feel on "Bloodstains and Papermache" track. I am trying to get a couple other DHR bands on board with a "donation" of one of their songs for a free download, but still waiting to hear back. If you CAN'T WAIT, please go to www.darkharvestrecords.com and listen/purchase any of the artist works either on CD or digital download. Hell, they've even got T'shirts, stickers, pins, and an old CD that I used to play on called "The Order of the Morning Star" So check it out metal heads! Have a great rest of the week and of course, STAY METAL \m/ \m/ www.Nvasionradio.com tonight at 8 p.m.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Let me start off by saying Happy 5th of May! Hope everyone has a safe, but fun celebration! Now the Street Team mission is coming to a close, we still don't have a lot of votes, I thought since everyone could participate in this mission, we would get a lot more responses. So any of you that are reading this (Thank you) , please tell your friends to check out this page, start a Reverbnation account , or simply leave a comment or message on what they thought. We are a Metal record label, working for the musician, because we were once in their shoes, ON STAGE, in the Studio, doing all those things a musician does. Holding down a 9 - 5 while trying to schedule shows/practice is no plate of pancakes (for those of you who don't like pancakes, please feel free to substitute said word with something you do like) So we feel we are different in a good way. We're here to help the artist, Not tell them that their material needs more cowbell, or whatever. so If you want to be part of a growing metal label and win cool prizes (free shite) come aboard and join the steet team! Because It's ALL about YOU the FAN! Hailz and may your Cinco de Mayo be a Metal one! \m/ muddy \m/
