May 16, 2011 New York, New York Oscar Sanchez and Affluent Records are very happy to announce today the new signing of North Carolina Mix tape Label Imprint AE PRODUCTIONS.
AEPRODUCTION INC is an ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY unlike any other. Headed by Jack Pope, and based in Fayetteville NC the company has become a new force in the south as a mainstream mix tape imprint.
Jack Pope started his career in the Hip-Hop music scene in 1983 in his hometown of Wyandanch N.Y. working as Road Manager for local groups. In 1994 Jack became an original member of The Gravediggaz as a Road manager for the group. Gravediggaz was one of the first rap horror core groups that came out in the late 90’s produced by THE RZA. In 1999 Jack changed his local and would move to Fayetteville NC, keeping up his rhythmic driving force of production and management. Throughout his career Jack has been blessed and his productions gave him the opportunity to collaborate with many artists and producers including Prince Paul, RZA, Nate Tinsley, The X Man, EPMD, Producer-Super DJ Clark Kent, Biz Markie. Rakim and Dirtybakerz to name a few.
Today Jack is SEEKING OUT NEW ARTISTS & GROUPS DOWNSOUTH for his new mix tape label imprint AEPRODUCTION INC.
“North Carolina is a market that has been virtually untapped for new talent,” says Affluent Records CEO Oscar Sanchez. “By opening up this new mix tape label outlet in North Carolina we will be able to gather the best new artist out of that region and be able to first hand pick out the best. It allows artists who are looking to get heard by labels to get the exposure of dropping the next hottest single out of North Carolina and possibly get signed. Now they have an outlet to do it at.”
