A MODEST PROPOSAL
Its important that we understand the significance of HUMILITY & how it holds us together. This is ESPECIALLY important in marriage. Paul said to reject the "me first" urges! "Let nothing be done out of selfish ambition" (Phil.2:3). Instead, we should value our spouses more than ourselves & look out for their interests. Humility in action means serving our spouse, & NO act of service is too small or too great! After all, Jesus "humbled Himself" to the point of death, even death on the cross (v.8). His selflessness showed His love for us. What can you do today to serve the one you love? It may be as simple as leaving spinach off the dinner menu or as difficult as helping him or her through a long illness. Whatever it is, placing our spouses needs before our own, CONFIRMS our commitment to each other through Christlike humility. If you think its possible to love your spouse too much, you probably havent loved enough!

Dont waste your time-invest it!
The restless movement of a clock ticking reminds us that our time here on earth is limited. Despite the joys and pains that we experience in life, time goes on. For the believer your time here on earth is an opportunity for gaining wisdom. One way is to ask yourself questions like, how can i become more Christ like? Am i reading the Word of God enough? Am i devoting enough time to prayer? Am i meeting with other believers on a regular basis? The way you answer these questions is an indication of the progress your making in gaining wisdom and becoming more like Jesus Christ. No matter where you are in life,God gives you an oppurtunity to grow in faith and wisdom. Living a God life is the way to progress in your life. So now the question is,How are you progressing in your lifes journey, how are you spending your time? ''WAKE UP, ITS TIME''!!!!!!!
STOP WASTING "ALL" OF YOUR TIME & ENERGY ON YOUR WEAKNESSES & SHORT-COMINGS & SPEND MORE TIME ON YOUR STRENGTHS & BUILD ON THEM.. BECAUSE NO ONE CAN EVER STOP YOU BUT "YOU" !

BLESSED ASSURANCE
CONFIDENCE is appropriate for followers of Jesus Christ! We have the ASSURANCE from God's Word that when we die we will immediately be with our Lord. (2Cor.5:8). Thankfully, this is more than just wishful thinking! Its GROUNDED in the historic reality of Jesus, who came & died to cancel our penalty for sin so that we could receive ETERNAL LIFE! (Ro.6:23). He then PROVED that there is life after death by exiting His grave & ascending into heaven, where, as He promised, He is preparing a place for us! (John 14:2). SO REJOICE!!! We can BOLDLY say that "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body & to be present with the Lord" (2 Cor.5:8). FOR THE FOLLOWER OF JESUS, DEATH MEANS HEAVEN, HAPPINESS & HIM!!!

THE MERCY OF GOD
No matter what kind of sorrow we experience, theres only ONE real comfort- THE MERCY OF GOD! David, in his own heartache, cried to the heavenly Father, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble, my eye wastes away with grief, yes, my soul & my body!" (Ps.31:9). ONLY in the MERCY OF GOD can we find comfort for our pain & peace for our troubled hearts. In ALL LOSSES, we can turn to the true Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who ALONE can heal our brokenness & our grief! WHEN GOD PERMITS SUFFERING, HE ALSO PROVIDES COMFORT!!!
'WORDS OF THE DAY' !
If you choose to continue in sin(GOING AGAINST GOD) then you choose your own destiny and fate. Everybody who is somebody goes through things,(SO WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOUR SO SPECIAL?) Its time to stop blaming everyone else for your downfalls and short-comings and just look deep into the mirror and youll find that all this time,"IT WAS YOU, STOPPING YOU" !

Fairness
Hate evil, love good. If we insist on fair treatment for ourselves, we can become angry and frustrated. When we embrace our Bibles wisdom,we will seek the welfare of others. Proverbs1:2-3 tells us to perceive the words of understanding,to receive the instruction of wisdom, judgement and equity. Never look for justice, but never cease to give it; never allow anything you meet with to sour your relationship with men through Jesus. When we experience unfairness,it is our privilege and responsibilty as followers of Jesus to respond with honesty and integrity ,doing what is right, just and fair. Life is not fair, but God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL.
Everyone who pursues in these last days a course similar to that of the world will share the same fate as it, by our words & deeds we show who we serve!
HAVE A BLESSED DAY.

Although Jesus is our BEST FRIEND, We also need relationships with fellow believers to help us survive in life! Peter was writing to believers who needed one another because they were suffering for their faith. In Peter ch.4 he mentions the need to receive & give fervent love, prayer & hospitality. ( v v.7-9). He also included the need for believers to use their spiritual gifts to minister to one another. (v.10). In 2 Cor.1:3-4, we're encouraged to comfort each other with the comfort we've been given by God & to build each other up in love. When life gets difficult & we get frazzled, staying close to our christian friends will help get us through!!! STAYING CLOSE TO GODLY FRIENDS HELPS US STAY CLOSE TO GOD!!!

God is in control
God is fully trust worthy. We must learn that Gods plan is the best plan for us. Nothing under Gods control will ever be out of control. Everything we need,God already knows every detail of it. He is able to supply our every need. When we keep our hands out of things,Gods will for our lives shall be done without interruptions. Gods name is exalted and His glory is magnified. May your hearts be directed into Gods will and not your own will.
What's our CHIEF GOAL? TO GLORIFY GOD & TO ENJOY HIM FOREVER! THIS IS OUR HIGH CALLING, OUR DESTINY!

Grateful 4 Grace-Lk.17:17-18
"Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" (Do we live a life of gratitude to God? Is there an attitude of gratitude? Do we pray and ask God to answer our prayer and when He does provide what we ask for do we forget bout Him and stop seeking Him? Thankfulness is difficult to express when one starts with an attitude of entitlement. Gratitude for something we take for granted is difficult. Those who have truly known thier diseased condition are often shameless and persistent-even embarrassing-in thier gratitude. And this is exactly the attitude Jesus commends. He welcomes exuberance. More than anything it reflects a genuine understanding of His grace.) "Gratitude is born in hearts that take time to count up past mercies."
WORSHIP includes offering ourselves to God, to be HIS SERVANTS & to do HIS WILL - NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS, NOTHING ELSE!
