Με χαρά σας ανακοινώνουμε τη νέα έκθεση-διαγωνισμό γραφιστικής της Reified Art Shows με θέμα "Simple Things Can Save the Earth" με ανοιχτή συμμετοχή! Μπορείτε να φτιάξετε ένα έργο που θα περιλαμβάνει ένα ή περισσότερα από όλα αυτά που κάνουμε καθημερινά στην προσπάθειά μας να σώσουμε τον πλανήτη (ανακύκλωση, ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας, εξοικονόμηση φυσικών πόρων, αναδάσωση, προστασία οικοσυστημάτων, προστασία ζώων-φυτών και άλλων οργανισμών που απειλούνται με εξαφάνιση, κτλ.)
Μπορείτε να στείλετε και περισσότερα από ένα έργα, αλλά συνήθως φιλοξενείται ένα έργο από τον κάθε εκθέτη. Η κατάθεση των έργων μπορεί να γίνει έως τις 25 Μαϊου 2011. Η διαδικασία για την κατάθεση των έργων είναι η εξής:
- Στέλνετε αρχικά το έργο σε χαμηλή ανάλυση με email στο reifiedart@gmail.com
- Στέλνετε επίσης τα προσωπικά σας στοιχεία (όνομα, επίθετο, ηλικία) καθώς και στοιχεία επικοινωνίας (διεύθυνση, τηλέφωνο)
- Μετά τη λήξη της προθεσμίας κατάθεσης των έργων θα σας ενημερώσουμε τηλεφωνικά σχετικά με τη συμμετοχή σας και την τελική κατάθεση του έργου σας.
- Η εκτύπωση του έργου γίνεται από εσάς (μπορεί βέβαια να γίνει στο συνεργαζόμενο κέντρο ψηφιακών εκτυπώσεων σε πολύ χαμηλότερη τιμή μετά από συνεννόηση μαζί μας)
Οι τελικές εκτυπώσεις των έργων μπορούν να είναι ή σε διάσταση 35x50 εκατοστά ή 21x29,7 εκατοστά (Α4).
Την ημέρα των εγκαινίων οι παρευρισκόμενοι έχουν τη δυνατότητα να ψηφίσουν το καλύτερο κατά τη γνώμη τους έργο. Παράλληλα, η κριτική επιτροπή που συστάθηκε για τη συγκεκριμμένη έκθεση θα βαθμολογήσει επίσης τα έργα της έκθεσης. Η ψήφος του κοινού και η βαθμολογία της κριτικής επιτροπής υπολογίζονται σε ποσοστά 50%-50% αντίστοιχα. Οι τέσσερις δημιουργοί των τεσσάρων έργων με τις περισσότερες ψήφους και την καλύτερη βαθμολογία από την κριτική επιτροπή θα κερδίσουν πολλά δώρα προσφορά των χορηγών μας!

Comic Design Exhibition by Reified Art Shows
If you design comics, or you always wanted to, but waited for the right initiative, you can now submit your work for the upcoming comic design exhibition of Reified Art Shows. You can choose to create a story or a design of your preference, but the size shouldn't be bigger than 50 x 70 cm. Keep in mind that your design cannot be offensive or insensitive towards important social matters (human rights, religious beliefs, etc.) or else it will be eliminated.
The deadline to submit a sample of your work (photo, scanned file, etc.) via email at reifiedart@gmail.com is March 31, 2011. For more information regarding the regulations you can also visit our page at www.facebook.com/reifiedartshows.

Embracing The Difference photography exhibition opening party! (Feb. 13, 2011)
H Reified Art Shows διοργανώνει στο Silver Dollar Music Bar (Εθνικής Αμύνης 19, Θεσσαλονίκη) στις 13 Φεβρουαρίου 2011, ώρα 20:00', τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης φωτογραφίας με θέμα "Embracing The Difference" ("Αγκαλιάζοντας τη Διαφορετικότητα").
Στην έκθεση θα φιλοξενηθούν φωτογραφίες των (με αλφαβητική σειρά):

Reified Art Shows presents "Embracing The Difference" Photography Exhibition.

"Reified Art Shows" is a series of art shows covering the following areas:
- Photography - Graphic Design - Handmade products of all types (jewelery, bags, hats, clothes, etc.) - Sculptural Art - Painting
Anyone can submit their work for evaluation with a chance to participate in one of our shows.
Starting in 2011, all exhibitions in Thessaloniki will take place at Silver Dollar Music Bar (Ethnikis Aminis, Thessaloniki, Greece).
Submitting your work:
- You should be at least 18 years of age. - Check the theme of the contest in progress on our page. - Send us a sample of your work that fits the theme, preferably by email. (Don't forget to include detailed information on your piece - size, texture, materials used, etc.) Also, don't forget to send us your contact information (First and Last Name, Address, Age, Sex, Phone Number, etc.) - After your work is evaluated by our team, you will receive a notification stating if your work will be included in our upcoming show. - Keep in mind that there is NO PARTICIPATION FEE. - In order to submit your piece in it's final form, you should send it or deliver it at the address mentioned above at least 10 days prior to the opening of the exhibition. (in the case of photography and graphic design, all printing costs should be covered by the artist) - At this point, we do not undertake selling the pieces included in our show. Therefore, if you wish to sell your work, it's up to you to arrange it. - All pieces are returned after the end of the exhibition.

"Le groupe italien Apeiron a été formé en 2001. Depuis cette date, le groupe a sorti un CD demo, un EP et un album intitulé "Among The Lost", qui a été édité par Last Scream Records. Quand j'ai reçu l'album, j'ai été contente de voir qu'il était accompagné d'un dossier de presse avec toutes les informations dont j'avais besoin pour cette kronik, sachant que je n'avais jamais entendu parler du groupe avant..."

Nouvelle revue d'album à Skartnak.com: Acid Drinkers - Verses of Steel
"Acid Drinkers est un fait un "vieux" groupe polonais, sachant qu'il a été formé en 1986 et que "Verses Of Steel" est son treizième album. J'ai honte d'avouer que je n'ai jamais entendu parler de ce groupe avant, encore plus maintenant que j'ai écouté "Verses Of Steel". C'est un album de thrash moderne et groovy, avec une variété inattendue, mais qui reste cohérent la plupart du temps..."

New Album Review @ Metalpaths.com: Stone Sour - Audio Secrecy !!!
"Three years after the release of “Come What(ever) May”, Stone Sour have released another studio album entitled “Audio Secrecy”. To be perfectly honest, I was more than excited to review an album by this band and expected to be totally overwhelmed by “Audio Secrecy”. Overall, music-wise this album is almost perfect, even though I could live without so many melodic tracks. However, what I expected was slightly harsher vocals – definitely not “Slipknot-harsh”, but you get the idea – and a more up-beat sensation after listening to the entire album..."
