Metal Allegiance Album Review

I have been watching Mike Portney on You Tube either brutalizing a Hello Kitty Drum Kit or Metal Allegiance videos for their self titled debut album for what seems like ages. I managed to buy a copy of the album, and have been listening to it on and off for the past couple of weeks to get a feel of what the album is about. What I'm hearing is amazing. There are a lot of different styles on this album, anything from Prog Rock to Thrash to good old Heavy Metal. I really like this album as the average length of time of a track is about 6 minutes long, this album will please a lot of metal fans and attract new fans to the genre. If you haven't heard or seen Metal Allegiance, I would highly recommend you go check them out as you won't be disappointed. I would give this album 4.5 out of 5 Project Metal

Inkubus Sukkubus Mother Moon Album

I started listening to Inkubus Sukkubus in 2004 after a friend of mine bought a copy of the "Beast With Two Backs" album and sent it to me for my birthday. He knew that I like female fronted rock/metal bands and ever since I listened to that album I have been hooked on them. Over the years that I have been listening to them, I have managed to get most of their albums, either on Vinyl or CD or both. A few months back after hearing that Inkubus Sukkubus were bringing out the "Mother Moon" album , I had a massive cheshire cat grin on my face, as this band has made some of the best albums in the world. I have had this album for a good few weeks now and have been playing it virtually none stop in this time. The title track Mother Moon is sublime and it does set up the rest of the album for what i could only describe as "Wickedly Tremendous", this album has it all, there are elements of metal, rock, folk, pagan just to name a few genres they have used on this album Check out their website at http://inkubussukkubus.com as there is a lot of information about the band there I would give this album 5 out of 5 Project Metal

Slayer's Repentless Album

Over the last 25 years or so I have been listening to Slayer and with each they have brought out I have enjoyed. The Repentless album that has come out recently has been no exception. From start to finish it is a roller coaster ride of aggression. But I thought that with Jeff Hannerman passing a few years back, I thought that Slayer would go their separate ways, but they made a decision to carry on. With Jeff looking down on them, they have made a brutal album that can be called a masterpiece, from Kerry's guitars to the drumming to Tom's singing, its good to see Slayer in fine form. The music video to Repentless has got a lot of Hollywood movie stars in it, such as Danny Trejo of such films as Machete and From Dusk 'til Dawn, If you like Slayer you should go out and buy it, you will not regret it.

I would give this 5 out of 5
