10 Year later

Hard to believe it was that long ago that the Columbine event took place.

It almost seems like i was living another life then. Well, not by much, but you know what i mean.

The question today is this...Have we gotten better or worst since then?

Back home.

Just like what the title says. LOL. Ill get back to my usual self after some sleep. See you then.

Time away from here.

Just a friend reminder to everyone that ill be gone from here tomorrow afternoon to go see and spend Easter with my sister in North Carolina. If you wanna send me any Easter related stuff, better do it now. Cause...well, she lives in the mountain region not from the West Virgina border. She doesn't get much internet out there. So don't plan on seeing me until Monday.

PC problems.

The Power Supply and the Power button on my PC is acting up. . Fine time for that to happen.

Ill still be here. Just really annoyed right now.

FTC's plan to change rules on ad endorsements.

Subway spokesman and occasional thin guy Jared Fogle may soon be out of work thanks to a new FTC rule banning commercial testimonials that warn "results not typical" or "individual results may vary." Under the new rule, marketers using, say, body builders to advertise weight loss pills are also going to have to show an average lardass whose results might be more typical. You can guess how advertisers are reacting to the change...

"The revisions have drawn sharp criticism from product manufacturers, advertising agencies and trade groups who say it is the "aspirational" theme of their ads that motivates consumers to purchase their goods. Show less than the ultimate achievement, they say, and consumers are less likely to buy."

Translation: Easily deceived consumers won't buy useless products if they knew they were useless.

"For a good part of the last decade, we have noticed a problem, particularly with consumer testimonials," said Richard Cleland, assistant director of the FTC's division of advertising practices. "The use of consumer testimonials had become almost a safe harbor for companies as long as they threw in some sort of disclaimer about results not being typical."

The rules are undergoing a final review, after which they will likely be adopted. Late night and daytime advertising will never be the same!

Somewhere out there, Bill Hicks is laughing his ass off...

Twitter 2

After doing my homework on Twitter, i came up with this verdict.

The FAQ from that site sucks. LOL. I would have learn more if i just asked someone about it. But i at least know how it works. And yeah, i would use it.

Why i won't use it right now is because its not a priority for me right now. Its just not something im focused on right now. Ill see those of you that i like on there. In due time. Right now...i got no choice but to pass on it until things get better for me.

Twitter

While i appreciate those that have Twitter accounts and would like to see 'Moi' use them, i feel like i need to remind some of you of something about me before the offers get out of hand.

I am unemployed. meaning? I don't have a job. I am on unemployment. Meaning? I have barely any money coming in to cover my bills. I don't do barely any texting now. Why? texting cost me money. And WHAT KIND OF A PERSON I AM, FINANCIALLY?

If you guessed that im a tightwad, give yourself an A, as well as an Oatmeal cookie.

The short of this is THIS...As much as i would love to get involved with that, I JUST CAN'T DO IT. Because i just can't fucking afford to.

So while i can do that texting thing, it better be for a good goddamn reason right now. Otherwise, i only have it for an emergency reasons, like my car going out. Once i get back to work, then ok, sure...Ill be there. But man, you guys need to read this and remember it. Only warning, too. My emotions are on edge already. The last thing i need is to be hammered with Twitter offers from others. Last thing im sure everyone wants is for me to go off of someone i give a damn about because im 'behind the times' and should join in on this. First things first, folks. Money things for me first. Ok? Ok.

Now back your (normal?) Daily lives.

Another Clip to get me ready for the Mighty Patrick's Day.

Sirocco- black is the color

(God, i love these ladies. I really do hope they catch on over here.)
