my fathers wing

It was late one night I was all alone Thinking of my troubles Wishing my daddy was home

In the dark of the night I whispered your name Daddy are you there Cause nothing is the same

When all of a sudden I saw a bright light On the wardrobe door Shining so bright

Was my fathers wing The feathered kind Was my mind playing tricks Was i out of my mind

I looked again I could see it so clear It was my loving father I had nothing to fear

He had come to me In my hour of need Gave me peace When he heard my plea

Then the light dimmed You faded away Always in my heart that image will stay

So whatever life holds whatever life brings I will always remember My fathers wing

Tears behind a smile

Tears behind a smile, hide a pain' you'll never' see hidden deep inside from the depths of insecurity, your heart feels like a stone, and your fears they never leave, you dont know who to trust, you want so much to beleive, you go from day to day, waiting for a change, but you can only change yourself, you can only take the blame, people they have hurt you but you learn from your mistakes, did you let it happen, you have to raise the stakes, let them know you wont accept nothing but respect dont let them take advantage,be careful who you select. tears behind a smile, but i wouldnt change a thing, put it down to experience, its what i call living so no matter how much your hurting, the pain you feel inside, tears behind a smile you no longer have to hide.

Seek and you will find

seek and you will find,at the moment you are blind If you open your eyes, you will see The bigger picture of who you could be

a famous poet,or star in mcbeth So many things to do before your own death A singer,a writer your book on a shelf To live in luxury,to achieve great wealth

To travel the world, and capture the sights To be a great photographer, your name in lights So many things you could be If you open your eyes, you will see

So seek my friend and you will find So many things dont stay blind

homelessness

Autumn leaves are falling free Wind blows through the trees The suns so bright but its so cold Winters coming so I'm told

Inside I'm as warm as toast I don't have much but more than most A warm flat to go home too Not a cardboard box to see me through

Think of the homeless in the street Think of them next time you meet Begging for money, feels me with rage It shouldn't be happening in this day and age

The government saying things have improved Look at the homeless I'm sure your be moved
