Letters to Eric

Letters to Eric: Dear Eric, I am glad that I had the chance to know you..I meet you in Bangor, Maine... We would run into each other in many different place...like the library the bus station, Manna Ministries, and The Salvation Army... I lived on High St and you lived on Ohio St... On Oct 26, 2006, I was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints...While I was getting ready to be baptized, I was you in Old Town.(I was on the way home from the bus-You got on in Old Town) The Lord spoke to my heart saying,"Pray for him"... I started to pray for you...I wanted to tell you about The Church and about my baptism... I ran into you on 7-7-2007 at the bus stop at The Airport mall.... I froze up and did not tell... I am sorry... This is a series of Letters that I wrote to you...In these letters, I try and tell you about my baptism and my conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints... I put my heart and soul into this effort...I hope that I did a good job because I did it for you... I liked and cared about you...We never got to be the good friends that I hoped we could... This is what you could call an index to or for these letters... I do not if you will ever see them--I hope so... I pray that some brings you the truth and shows you the way back to Heavenly Father... This would help you a great deal as it has helped... "Heavenly Father, bless Eric's soul...open his eyes to Jesus...I pray that Jesus can and will dwell in his heart...I pray for the peace of Christ for Eric... I pray that Eric's life can and will be blessed by Jesus...Please meet his every need and send saints into his pathway that they will bless, help, and encourage Eric...May Eric know joy in this life and through out the eternities that are to come... I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ...Amen"

God grant you health and happiness Eric... Irish Blessing May the blessing of the rain be on you— the soft sweet rain. May it fall upon your spirit so that all the little flowers may spring up, and shed their sweetness on the air. May the blessing of the great rains be on you, may they beat upon your spirit and wash it fair and clean, and leave there many a shining pool where the blue of heaven shines, and sometimes a star. A Wish for a Friend Wishing you a rainbow For sunlight after showers— Miles and miles of Irish smiles For golden happy hours— Shamrocks at your doorway For luck and laughter too, And a host of friends that never ends Each day your whole life through! An Irish Prayer May God give you... For every storm, a rainbow, For every tear, a smile, For every care, a promise, And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, A faithful friend to share, For every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer for each prayer.
