Ever had a "friend" prompt you to do something outside of your character all for the FUN that it will bring.. So often we are influenced by our surroundings, or those around us that seem to offer something better. The word says that "sin is fun for a season". Oh so true! I have walked those days out of seeking the next best/fun thing only to find myself lonely, depressed and lost eventually bound by fear, regret and shame.. Funny how the very one who wants you in that very spot..(the enemy) is the one tempting you with the so called "Fun for a season"
Now don't get my wrong I love to live life fully and have fun in everything I do, but the enemy would put a twist on what FUN is.. And this is a great way that a friend of my communicated / illustrated it this weekend.. He said "If I have a need/want/desire that I need to satisfy and I go to someone/something else to satisfy it, I in turn prostitute myself to that thing/person.. I give of myself to gain from another. I idol or fill myself with one thing other then God.. Put something to fill my need in place of God who's promise is to meet all of our needs..Hmmm So today in my devo's I read...
Judges 8
27 Gideon made a sacred ephod from the gold and put it in Ophrah, his hometown. But soon all the Israelites prostituted themselves by worshiping it, and it became a trap for Gideon and his family.
33 As soon as Gideon died, the Israelites prostituted themselves by worshiping the images of Baal, making Baal-berith their god. 34 They forgot the Lord their God, who had rescued them from all their enemies surrounding them.
Wow.. Makes a person think.. What are we giving ourselves to that is taking the place of the Lord.. See I have learned through walking it out that NOTHING will satisfy or fill you like the love of Christ. He truly is the only one that has what you need.. SO what IF we were to take our time that we chase the world for satisfaction and chased GOD who has our every need. I know personally I have idols I have to replace, we all do.. It is a daily battle to choose to lay those down, and surrender ourselves the the very one who's plans for us are way better then we could ever imagine or create for ourself. Kinda makes you think right! Well know that Jesus paid the price for our sins so we could walk in complete freedom.. May God Bless You. I will continue to pray for peace and wisdom over you that you would come into a deeper understanding of Gods love for YOU! Ciao ~ C

Ok So I have decided I am going to share from questions that are frequently asked of me professionally and personally. So bring on the questions and I will answer them as quickly as I can!
Q: I feel like I can never save.. What is the key to begin saving?
A: Well there are only two ways to make more money room in your budget..
1. Make more money 2. Spend less! So I suggest to people I work with that you MUST establish guidelines for your spending. Write out your expenses, and then your income.. Be HONEST with yourself and see if there is any spending that is really just wasting your dollars.
This is my formula for a balanced life style..
Tithe 10% , Save 10% into your savings account, Save 10% into your investments and if you can really press do 20% vs the 10% into investments. Then your budget should be within the 70/60% depending on your savings.. If you can not make this work, you are living outside of your means.. You need to pay yourself EVERY PAYCHECK.. That is why you are working right.. To get paid.. SO I hear people say all the time.. I cant afford to pay myself.. Well here is a big WAKE UP.. You are paying everyone else why not YOU first.. YOU are the one that has to live your lifestyle.. Take control.. Cut spending, Tithe your FIRST fruits, Pay yourself and I Know because I do it myself, you will not be controlled by the almighty dollar, AND you will find balance in your life financially!
