Bios:
Martina McGowan
Martina McGowan, MD, physician, poet, writer, artist, advocate, activist in the wars against social, racial, and sexual injustices. She is the author of “i am the rage,” (February 2021, SourceBooks), and is an award-winner in the Social Change category of the 2021 International Book Awards. She is listed by the American Academy of Poets for a poetry reading list for the 25th Anniversary of National Poetry Month 2021 and a poetry reading list for Summer 2021. Woman’s Day has her listed among the “20 of the Best Poetry Books to Read in 2021.” Martina McGowan is the poetry editor for The Elevation Review Magazine, with work appearing in several literary magazines and anthologies.
Pauline Findlay
Pauline Findlay was born in Trinidad, West Indies and raised in Brooklyn. She is a poet, director, and filmmaker of short films, as well as a chef. Pauline is an original Silver Tongued Devil, has toured Augusta, Georgia, and is the author of Mirror Images. Her second collection of poems titled Dysfunction is waiting to be published. Her short films can be viewed on YouTube. Findlay’s work is not for the faint of heart. Her characters are stark, based within the voices of reality. She’s performed at Medgar Evers College, Women of Color Series, Fahrenheit Series, Governor’s Island, Cornelia Street Cafe, libraries, Barnes and Nobles, as well as other private events.
Jordan E. Franklin
Jordan E. Franklin is a poet from Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA from Stony Brook Southampton in 2018. Her work has appeared in the Southampton Review, Breadcrumbs, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Frontier, and elsewhere. She is the winner of the 2017 James Hearst Poetry Prize and the 2020 Gatewood Prize. Her first poetry collection, when the signals come home, was published by Switchback Books in March 2021. Her first poetry chapbook, boys in the electric age, was published by Tolsun Books in August 2021.

In the past several months, he has been published in several international anthologies from New York to Australia. Jeff has authored four chapbooks and recorded three CDs, and he has recently finished his seventh or eighth attempt at a first novel.

Turns out he was a partner in Quattro Books; within a few months they published her first book, Looking at Renaissance Paintings and Other Poems. Eventually another book came out, called Second Collection (2013). Her first chapbook, Portrait Gallery, was a product of the pandemic lockdown 2020. Caroline edited and wrote the introductions for three anthologies of prose and poetry by Italian Canadian writers: Italian Canadian Voices (1984); Italian Canadian Voices revised (2006) and Bravo! (2012). Her poems have been included in other anthologies, magazines, and online.

Her poetry has appeared in various international and national poetry anthologies and journals as: Jerry Jazz Musician, Red Wheelbarrow Poets Journals, THE POET’S anthologies, Live Encounters, Kistrech Poetry Festival, Mediterranean Poetry, Montclair Write Group, etc. She has published a book of poetry in Albanian, and is submitting a second one for publication. Ermira is also completing the first English collection Blooming as a Sacred Lotus while working on another bilingual one. She has translated the fiction novel The King’s Shadow from Albanian into English.

He's performed at The Legendary NYC Nuyorican Poets Cafe- The 2016 BPC Poetry Festival in Atlanta Ga. - The Chicago Illinois 2019 Spoken Ink Live!, as well as events, in New Jersey, Philadelphia, Albany NY, Syracuse NY, etc. Mr. Washington has starred, on Off Broadway Stages- Most Notably "Sistahs Black Like Me- Harlemville." He has performed at major Churches & Colleges throughout The Tri- State area. James has been writing since he was 14 years old and he published is book Words From The Heart in 2018 and Deep Thoughts in 2020. Talena Lachelle Queen is the president and founder of Word Seed. Inc. a nonprofit with a literary focus, and the poet laureate for her hometown Paterson, NJ. Additionally, Queen is the chair of the Paterson Art Exchange: the official art commission for the City of Paterson. She created the Paterson Poetry Festival (2018), the Speak Series a virtual reading (2020), the Maria Mazziotti Gillan Literary Service Award (2019) and The Seed to 3 Literacy group. Queen holds a BA from Montclair State University, Teaching Certification and MFA from the University of Washington, and a Nonprofit Certification from the Mendozza Business School at the University of Notre Dame. Susan Justiniano, a Puerto Rican NJ native, found her performance voice in Jersey City. In 2006, RescuePoetix™ emerged as an artist, entrepreneur and business entity.
