Well its was a cold blustery wintery Sunday Morning earlier ,but now that i look outside the window, i see the sun trying to coming out . Personally i just don't want a repeat performance of last Mondays debacle where there was 40cm of snow overnight .That was bloody blue murder and i can't understand anybody in their right mind would even attempt to drive out in it .It was pretty dodgy driving out yesterday evening when there was that bit of snow fall then .I had visions of being stuck out in that .So let me get of whining about the snow and change the subject. Well Here we are back again bringing you more Cutting edge Music coming from yours truly aka The Ever Friendly Host .I'v been so immersed in Music of late ,why i just recently purchased a CD by Saxophonist Kenny Garret titled "Sounds From The Ancestors" after hearing "When The Days Were Different" which is one of the tracks that was featured on the CD on the radio .Its a very positive uplifting track. Everytime i hear it i do my crazy dance in the car while i'm driving .I also purchased a Synthesizer Keyboard a Roland XP10 which is a more retro older type Keyboard .I tend to vear towards the older Synths just because i love the classic sounds and this one has great Presets ,but enough of me nerding out and talking about gear.

Hello and welcome back ,i'm here yet again with the latest Episode of this Podcast hosted by yours truely.So it looks like we maybe going back into lockdown mode again thanks to this new variant of the Covid virus .Ands whats worse is that folks who have had both Vaccine shots like myself can still get infected by this Delta Variant virus.Does that suck or what .So i guess it looks i'll be going back into hybernation mode again .Thats alright i plan on buying some new gear like Keyboards ,Sound Modules ,and a new amp so i'll have some new toys to play with in my Studio set up.But visit the website to check out the albums folks all in digital download format .We're not out of this pandemic situation just yet so support the local independent Musicians in your area.Without music the world would totally suck .

Hey folks whats happening ,hows everything, whats going on .I actually had a band practice for the first time in over a year over the weekend what with this Covid.Talk about ring rust .I'v been spending most of the time playing Keyboards @ my studio during the lockdown i hardly played Bass.But it was real good to actually get together with other Musicians in a band situation again especially seeing my Drumming buddy Renanto again ,keeping it tight as ever.I'll have to admit i had become a bit jaded about being in a band situation again what with the politics and the egos and the usual crap where they just waste my time ,i was quite happy just to do Remote Studio Sessions and compose the odd track for another artist which i am still doing ,but i'll admit i did kind of miss playing in a band so i'm in the process of being in 2 bands both with my Drummer .The first one is a Rock thing with this Guitarist ,the practice i had over the weekend .His names Jody and its all original material .His playing kind of reminds me of Pink Floyd in terms of his sound.The other band will be a Jazz/Funk/Fusion/Instrumental type of thing with some of my originals and covers.That will be a Trio Bass Drums ,& Keyboards.Need to find the right Keyboard Player with the right mind set as myself and my Drummer thats very important .So if there are any Keyboard players out there that are into the Jazz/Funk/Fusion/Instrumental thing give me a shout either on my website or via e-mail .

And here we are yet again for another Sterling Podcast episode .I have to mention that a funny thing happened to me over the weekend .It might sound petty but i thought i'd mention it anyways.Friday evening i was driving back from an engagement and when i approached my parking spot ,i found some pratt had parked his or her car in it .Now my parking spot is a reserved parking spot for which i pay extra for so you can imagine my mind set at the thought of not being able to park my car in my own spot .The worse thing is that i could'nt do a thing about it because the office was closed .So i left a brief note on this dick heads car reminding him that he was in a reserved parking spot,my reserved parking spot and that if it was still there in the morning i was going to get it towed .It was gone in the morning.But enough of that .I noticed also that the Italian community was celebrating their win against England in the European Cup Final this afternoon.Good luck to them i say bad luck for England though considering they had an early lead in the first 2 minutes of the game .I guess the pressure was just too much during the penalty shoot out.Anyways check out my latest Podcast and visit the website @ www.seriousnubian.com
