WEPAwebTV Develops Two Million Plus Catalog Of Latin Music (SALSA/LATIN JAZZ/LATINO HIP HOP/ALTERNATIVE/FOLKLORE) From Throughout The World Utilizing the contacts brought about by the salsamagazine.com Salsa Awards 2012 with collectors, universities and cultural institutions here in the United States, South America and overseas, WEPAwebTV can now develop both radio and television programming featuring music, interviews and documentaries that highlight the contributions of Latinos to global pop culture. http://www.facebook.com/Salsamagazine.comSalsaMusicAwards2012 According to Maria Hernandez (Executive Director of WEPAwebTV) "We have diligently pursued the full resources provided by social networking in the last two years to create the most extensive database of leads that rivals such renowned institutions as the Smithsonian Institution." Hernandez credits salsamagazine.com Editor Luis Chaluisan and the coalition of WEPAwebTV producers working with them in organizing the effort that has resulted in this great multicultural windfall. "The proof is in the pudding by tasting it" says Hernandez "and the coming year will certainly be a delightful musical feast as we focus on syndicating the Radio show and accompanying television program not only here in the United States but elsewhere as well with English, Spanish, French and Italian language programming on a level long theorized but never fully realized until now. We're most grateful for Mr Salsa (Izzy Sanabria) to have given us the opportunity to work on this project in conjunction with his worldwide recognition as a pioneer in the marketing of Salsa and Nuyorican culture." Ashley Mullins WBGU FM 88.1 Interview

http://blip.tv/wepawebtv/wbgu-fm-88-1-guest-interview-ashley-mullins-6284925 UnDiscovered http://www.facebook.com/musicundiscovered No genre is off limits. People relate to music in all kinds of ways and are drawn to different styles. If there is a genuine and talented person/band behind the music, I want to share it!! About This page is dedicated to sharing music. If you are in a band or just found a great band, share it on here! An "UnDiscovered" web series will be up soon. Description Ever wonder why there are no shows or channels that play music? I do every day. Music is just as much of a hobby to people as sports is, and there are tons of channels dedicate to the sports world. I am majoring in Telecommunications and minoring in Pop Culture and I want to make it my goal to help local musicians share their music. All the time I see new talent and it really makes me sad to know that passionate, and honest artists are going unnoticed simply because they do not have an opportunity to be heard. I want to change that. http://www.facebook.com/musicundiscovered Ashley Mullins I am majoring in Telecommunications and minoring in Pop Culture at Bowling Green State University. I love creating stuff whether it be with drawing, painting, writing, or singing, and studying at BGSU has opened up a whole new window of creativity that I never knew existed. Being in Bowling Green also has led me to my job here at the WBGU-TV station where I am learning the more technical side of creativity. I am enjoying this experience and hope it will lead me to a career that involves music in some way. Whether it be making music videos, documentaries on bands, or making concert DVDs. http://vimeo.com/user7197261

LITTLE OTIS AND THE UPSETTERS (Rare 1982 Live Recording "BANDA AMERICANA")

http://blip.tv/wepawebtv/little-otis-and-the-upsetters-rare-live-recording-banda-americana-6283247 Performing At Tradewinds (Now Grumpy Daves) Tuesday February 2, 1982 Main Street BG Ohio: There’s no Otis. We’re all happy as shit to have a regular gig so no one’s upset but the band’s name tells the truth, “We’re a party band. Please to meet ya.” The name is a play on the two R&B artists we want to emulate – Little Richard (with Jimi Hendrix on guitar covering all the horn lines) and Otis Redding (backed by Booker T) topped off by the sound of Sam The Sham and his Pharoahs. There’s a popular group in the area called the Exciterz so I do a play on their moniker for our band The Upsetters. We eventually split a profitable gig billed as A Night To Excite and Upset You. It’s a peculiar mix of crowds. We’re homeboys and fraternity girls. They’re gothic and leather.

WEPAwebTV Dissociates From PR Sun Communications

As The salsamagazine.com Salsa Awards 2012 draw to a close (Voting ends August 31) we are putting the Mr Salsa-WEPAwebTV Coalition through a housecleaning. As reported earlier, salsamagazine.com and WEPAwebTV media services have enacted a news blackout regarding New York City and the Latino Arts Industry there because of continued illegal acts perpetrated by members of that community. We are now in the process of dissociating ours from Clarisel Gonzalez PR Sun Operations because of an attempt by one of her bloggers (ISMAEL NUNEZ) to insinuate himself in the Negative campaign against our Publisher Mr Salsa Izzy Sanabria perpetrated by DON SONERO, Jerry Hernandez (Orquesta Dee Jay) members of Aurora Flores Zon Del Barrio, Larry Harlow, promoter Andres Padua and fired former writers/editor of salsamagazine.com FB group. Nunez spammed our Awards and associated FB Pages this morning with misleading information about the Awards and our operations feigning ignorance of what we have developed over the last two years. Nunez joined the salsamagazine.com FB group a year and a half ago. He lurked on WEPAwebTV Executive Director Maria Hernandez FB Page since 2009. He joined the salsamagazine.com Salsa Awards Fan Page a month after it opened in January 2012. We responded to Nunez spams with a thorough detailed documentation of how the Awards were developed and all subsequent developments up to and including our pulling out of the NY Live show and Refund to Ticket buyers. The final straw came when he again wrote a misleading response that the Live show was still on and being held elsewhere. Nunez is no stranger to WEPAwebTV. He did a hatchet job on our touring production of El Extremes Electric Cabaret in 2004. Please note that in no way do we contend that Clarisel Gonzalez is responsible for Nunez acts but as he one of the bloggers on the PR Sun site and we do not expect her to censor him we rather pull away from the active support of her operations to ensure our own credibility and developing work. We wish Clarisel success with her project and hope that she can step up her overseeing of who is using her site to derail other viable operations.
