My ukulele Supergroup would be the following lineup: Tiny Tim, you (well duh!), Bradda IZ Kamakawiwo'ole, George Harrison, Eddie Vedder, Jake Shimabukuro, Elvis, Kate Bush and me. It would be music to to my ears to hear the surviving members of this stellar lineup playing my own song, "Stella", with Bradda IZ Kamakawiwo'ole handling the lead vocals. If he didn't want to sing lead, my second choice would be Kate Bush. If she refused I would happily sing the song myself with the others playing ukuleles and various musical instruments. But most of all I'd like to hear you sing "Stella"!!!

Just Saturday, I've arrived back to California after a stay in the New England states. Had the finest of foodstuffs imaginable and exchanged elaborate courtesies with all possible of the the local woods people there. A patient gentleman who shared much described the local ways of tapping maple syrup so I had to try it myself. Today, I took out my electric ukulele which has a fine maple neck and carefully drove in a short piece of steel tubing straight into the wood and, to my delight, it produced a trickle of raw syrup.
