Is it just me or does it seem like music has escaped from true hip hop.I mean it has become such a bubble gum industry it almost makes me sick.I am a true lyricist and it feels like I am cheating myself by actually making sense with my music. I keep hearing just keep being original and don't change for the hype, but its a lot easier said than done. Is there any point in trying to be political these days or rap about something positive. What are your thoughts?

Keep up with the message in your music..its all how it is delivered...all this bubble gum rap will play out..just keep that realness....I feel like this rap game is mostly about style and how the song sounds..once a fya sound/chorus and style is at a songs foundation....you could almost rap about anything lol...but I know you dope though, so keep it pushing sista
