"Sunday Morning"

This week's feature video is from about 5 years ago - cover I did of "Sunday Morning" by The Velvet Underground at 4:00 a.m. in my apartment in Denver Colorado. I noticed the lighting is very similar to that on the individual head shots of the band members on that particular album. That wasn't a conscious move.

Everyday is Great

https://brianparton.bandcamp.com/album/untitled?t=1 "Everyday is Great"came along during quarantine and really gave people a lift at the handful of socially-distanced shows and on the internet.

"She's the Only One for Me"

Please have a listen: https://brianparton.bandcamp.com/album/untitled?t=2 "She's the Only One for Me" has been a fine addition to my shows. This week's feature video on the site is from a television performance in Tulsa.

New EP - Up-tempo and Fun!

https://brianparton.bandcamp.com/ My newest EP is available at Bandcamp. I know you will enjoy. All four songs are up-tempo, inspiring and fun, or so I'm told. "Every Day is Great" is one of my most popular songs at live shows - even the staff stops to applaud that one! "Mean, Mean Girl" is a brisk rockabilly number that I used to do with my band Brian Parton and the Nashville Rebels. "Keen on Her" and "She's the Only One for Me" are shamelessly Pop and two of my favorite songs, ever. The striking album cover was conceived by my graphic artist daughter Kelsey.

Can You Dig It? More about "Perry Mason"

After a day of writing and tending to the administrative side have my entertainment operation, the M-F 10:30pm-12:30am Central Time TV block of Perry Mason and two Seinfelds is something I look forward to with glee everyday. Having all the DVDs of both shows, sometimes I'll just do that in the same time slot and avoid commercials.

Favorite TV Theme Song

Jimmie Tramel asked a bunch of us for our favorite TV theme song (and why) in Sunday's Tulsa World (August 24, 2025). I went with Perry Mason "because it fits the show and Raymond Burr's facial expressions during the intro. Plus, the 8th-ish notes on the snare near the end of the song are pretty slick.

"Young & Pretty" Link Added to ReverbNation

Having fun with the ReverbNation page, again - a Renaissance, somewhat! This is a new song and a must for the page: https://www.reverbnation.com/brianparton1/videos
