A-Team Cult Falloween -NW-

A-Team Cult Falloween Tour Aceyalone & Abstract Rude are... Acey The Faceman & A.B. Baracus

"B-boys Forever!" Since the mid 90s, Aceyalone & Abstract Rude have been the undisputed kings of the LA Underground. The duo met at The Goodlife Cafe's legendary open mic nights, formed The A-Team, and went on to co-executive produce the classic Project Blowed compilation. After the compilation's release Acey & Ab (along with CVE) opened up Project Blowed; their own open mic night held on Thursdays at Kaos Network in Leimert Park. The A-Team both signed brief deals with major label Capitol Records: Aceyalone released All Balls Don't Bounce in '94 and Abstract Rude & Tribe Unique (via Grand Royal) recorded Mood Pieces in '95 (later released independently in '98.)

After the brief stays with Capitol, Aceyalone went on to establish Project Blowed Recordings as a label, and Abstract Rude began an impressive indie label & international touring run. Both have recorded several solo albums independently released to critical acclaim; all of Acey's releases through Project Blowed Recordings, and Ab's through various labels like Massmen, Battleaxe and most currently Rhymesayers Entertainment (Rejuvenation lp released 5-5-09.) Together as a group The A-Team has released 2 lps: Who Framed The A-Team? and Lab Down Under. They also released a reissue of their 1st lp called Who Reframed The A-Team?

These days Acey The Faceman & A.B. Baracus are keeping busy working on new lps for their respective original groups: Aceyalone & Freestyle Fellowship's The Promise (due out March 2011), and Abstract Rude & Tribe Unique's Untitled coming soon in 2011. The A-Team is also quietly working on new material; look for leaks before the end of 2010.

As true originators of the indie rap scene, The A-Team has built a cult following through the years with quality releases and razor sharp chemistry in their live show. Now in their "sweet 16" Anniversary year of Project Blowed, The A-Team is hitting the road again this Fall to perform for their beloved cult following in the Northwest area. Joining them on their Cult Falloween Tour will be Portland's own MY-G & Rose. The Cult Falloween Tour will begin in Portland, OR on Oct.31 with a special Haikulloween show at Refuge featuring Myka 9. Then The A-Team tour will travel through the Northwest hitting cities like Ashland, Eureka, San Jose, Sebastopol and ending in San Francisco on Nov.7 with another special Haiku d'etat performance at TempleSF . "I pity the fool who don't come to this!"
