Our New Album!

Hey there, We are so proud to offer you the digital tracks of our new album, A Thousand Oceans. This week marks the end of a long process which we began months ago, of recording, mixing, fine tuning and working to get these songs out to the wide world. And I am so proud of all the work that my friends and band-mates have done! They are really fabulous chaps. So Fabulous that I have decided to give them a name, to recognize their contribution to my music. They have, in their own unique ways, come together with their creativity and skill to make this music sound ridiculously amazing, and my heart overflows with joy and gratitude for the gift of their contributions! Therefore, I have bestowed a name upon my band; and all who sit in with me at one time or another may claim this name as their own. Go to my BandCamp website for the band-name "reveal" -- www.sherah.bandcamp.com Also, if you press "play" on Hello Was A Little Boat, you can hear all the songs on the album and pick your favorites to download! If your "favorite" is the entire album, you can download that, too! And please do me a favor and share, share, share! I need you to spread the word and let folks know about my music. Remember, "Loose lips set ships sailing around the world!" (or something like that)

One cool thing with BandCamp: if you order a hard-copy CD, you ALSO get an immediate digital download of the album so you don't have to wait for snail-mail to bring you your booty!! Sweet deal!

Thanks for your support and patronage! It means so much to me ;)

It's going to be a beautiful night with music, food and wine under the glowing strands of lights in the courtyard. It's a night you don't want to miss! See you then!

The Deep End

One of the most difficult things in life is to say goodbye to the person you love when all you want to do is be home with them. What's harder is saying goodbye again and again because of a military deployment or a job that requires lengthy travel. My heart breaks for those families and I wrote this song for you. Come to my website and share your stories with me. I'd love to get to know you... and you never know, you may hear some of the themes of your life journey reflected in my songs someday!

Welcome to my music

Hey everybody! Welcome to my music on My Band! Many of you have been interested in my music over the years, and now is your chance to hear it! These songs are all recently produced originals and were recorded in my home studio. They feature my voice, the accoustic guitar, and my background vocals sung in a style called "melody beat-box". They tell my stories and those of people I know, putting to music experiences that are common to the heart. I will be updating these new songs every few weeks, so come and check it out! I will also be including the songs from my earlier EP, "Wish", for those of your that don't have that CD already. That album was produced in 2003 with Scott MacGill in California, and features my dad on base and accoustic guitar. Feel free to listen, download, and share them any time. Be sure to give some feedback, too! I would love to hear from you! In a couple of months, I will be releasing a 5-song EP with more original songs. This EP is being professionally produced in LA and the songs will be for sale on my website, sherahsings.com and on my sherahsings fan page on Facebook. Listen for your story in my music. And most of all, enjoy! Sherah
