REAL SPEED EQUATION .. studio_speed = commercial_speed * 0.90 * 0.91875 because 0.90 = 39690 / 44100 and 0.91875 = 44100 / 48000
and the playback of every tape machine recording
adds another -50 cents change per generation
additional * 0.972 decrease
to compensate for playback Increase
because the tape records slower than plays it back .
why didnt anybody care to notice this
