Perseverance

todays topic refers to overcoming the odds against you and weathering a sometimes violent storm.. we all face adversity some of us alot more then others.. being an entertainer alot of times you leave yourself at the mercy of the masses... you've got to learn how to focus on the good and gauge the validity of the bad... sometimes you can ween through a haters bullshit and gain some good feedback.. but most the time.. you've got to be your own best critic and set standards and goals for yourself to achieve and live by.. because as you progress through life you've got to raise the bar for yourself other people can love you or hate you.. but you've gotta live with you.. so you should listen to your gut above all.. when you do something your proud of bask in it for a few a minutes... sometimes things aren't all sunshine and candy... and sometimes shit ain't sweet

Robots

so im starting to get the hang of this blog thing.. jus more or less try'n pull ya'll into the random thoughts i have in a day... so heres blog #2

ROBOTS.... motherfuckas who see other dudes getting a shine on and tryn make themselves a replica and follow the exact movements fore mentioned individuals make, tryn to steal their shine.. try to work with all the same people... that being said there are too many of these people in music.. you tryn create a tight bond between the people around you and alot of times the robot can be revealed very quickly.. you'll see ideas that you share walk right up to you and smack you across the face... and it is in these times you realize sometimes being an individual sometimes means trusting no one and keeping your thoughts to yourself... you never know when somebody will tryn move in on your cake.. so sometimes its best to keep it locked in the fridge until your ready to share the left-overs ive learned this the hard way many times myself... but i guess the best part of being the person people try to emulate at the end of the day is the simple fact... you will always out-do people who try to mimic you... because really.... who can be you better then you?

Where did the music go?

too many mafuckas is worried about what other people might perceive them as these days wether it be in music or life... you've gotta live with yourself at the end of the day.. so in the end the only standard you have to meet is your own.. if you wanna do things aimlessly or write music that you think other people might write your losing the battle already because if you leave your own needs and feelings out of your top priorities your never going to be able to please everyone .. and your defintily never going to find happiness yourself... in the end as a musician or a human being you should want to set out with your best foot forward and worry about creating the best product/life your capable of creating for yourself... focus on what feels right... if you feel better for doing it.. its probably for you...
