ANGELSPIT V2.0 - ANGELSPIT ADDS NEW MEMBERS TO LINE-UP
New five-piece line-up to tour northeastern U.S., Europe
March 30, 2011 – Cyberpunk duo Angelspit are no longer a duo, having recently added some new members to their line-up.
Angelspit welcomes the talented and prestigious Valerie Gentile (Black Tape for a Blue Girl, former Crüxshadows) on guitar, Chris Kling (Hanzel Und Gretyl, Mortiis) on drums, and secretive video manipulator The Liar to the band’s rankings.
"Chris, Valerie and The Liar are enabling us to bring our original vision from studio to the stage,” says Angelspit co-founder Zoog Von Rock. “The energy is off the scale, much more than any Angelspit show we’ve ever done – this is a new level of brutal."
Kling and Gentile both recently contributed to a few tracks on Angelspit’s newest release, Carbon Beauty, prompting their enlistment to the band. Gentile’s recent stage performance alongside Angelspit at the beginning of the SonicAngel tour only cemented the band’s decision.
The Liar is the winner of Angelspit’s video contest from earlier this year, creating an original video mix for the track “Fuck the Revolution.” His video can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OErNW-sTzEE.
The newly-expanded Angelspit will be touring the northeastern U.S. in April, with their sights set on Europe for summer 2011.

Our dear supporters!
It is with a sunken heart and charged anger that we must make the following announcement:
Due to a ridiculous amount of red tape imposed by the US Embassy in London, there is an extremely high chance that Destroyx will be unable to enter the USA for several days and therefore miss the first few dates of the Sonic Angel tour with Lords of Acid.
Since May last year, Angelspit have been working with a respected immigration lawyer to attain a new visa for the United States. We want to play by the rules, but the Embassy keeps changing them. These delays are extremely costly and have almost bled us dry.
Despite several embassy meetings, we still cannot get a clear answer on when Destroyx can enter the United States and therefore join the tour. We are hoping she will be cleared by March 6th, and join us in Seattle and continue onward.
ANGELSPIT HAVE AN AWESOME BACK-UP PLAN FOR THE TOUR…
Zoog and Destroyx have decided to use this as an opportunity to experiment with something new - Zoog will launch the tour alongside none other than guitarist and Carbon Beauty contributor, Valerie Gentile!
Angelspit are going to focus their frustration and make something positive, awesome and LOUD! Valerie’s brutal guitar will bring an exciting live element to Angelspit’s already energy charged show, until Destroyx arrives stateside.
The tour will go ahead. The tour will be awesome!
WE NEED YOUR HELP
The coordination of this tour and the ongoing battle over Destroyx’s visa is taking a massive hit on Angelspit funds.
If you have ever downloaded an Angelspit album from a torrent, or have enjoyed our work for free, we now ask that you now support us.
