2 more weeks we're going to be sending our "Karnivor" EP to i-tunes.. on top of that shooting our first video "Break My Heart" in April 13th.. My m.i.a. to San Diego has held us back for 6 months but now I have moved back to Los Angeles the band is getting to scratch the surface on rehearsal. Speaking of which we're currently putting together an electronic show. I think our 5th band member will be Rubin doing the lights for the shows haha! Pray to the universe all these plans will work out. For now I gotta start booking the shows. Wish us luck! HERE WE GO!

What can I say what a great weekend! Thank you Tap Inc. 's Tommy for putting us at Andaz Hotel for 3 nights on sunset and Viper Room and Roxy shows was off the hinges! Made lots of great people that are in now in full support for De5tro. So thank you every one of you crazy folks that made it to our event. God Bless!

great weekend scout 5 locations in L.A. for music video checked, 2 new DPs checked, band photo shoot checked, client contract sealed checked, graciously me and my baby and crew had time to eat thai, greek, and mexican food partied w JP and Maq's Bday felt like vacation even though it was hard work.

We've been hitting the pavement for this project for so long.. I can't believe how fruitful 2012 has been for us.. We are going to be mastering the album this July and should be released by August.. hopefully cause this shit always changes.. I know we need more time to promote.. but we figure time can't wait we need to share this to our fans and future fans.. Our first single "Kanivore" will have a music video ready by october .. it also features the world infamous "Redman" so we're very excited about that.

It's been a roller coaster ride this past 2 months. Competing @ talent showcases, meeting amazing ppl that's joining my promo team, promoting the shows tirelessly, writing and singing for my new band "Still Chaos". Now that we're getting close to the main event, my cd release party @ The Viper Room Oct 16th as always just in time we've finally got the right bassist, Toly from Chile whom was signed to universal with another band years ago.Last Monday night I scheduled an audition for him and i tell you it was so so meant to be. We usually rehearse 4 hours tops but with Toly on bass and Dion on drums our rehearsal went by so fast I couldn't believe it had only been an hr. We walked outside the studio and we we're all in shock how incredible our chemistry was. We couldn't believe how we just played everything perfect note for note, and with the transitions gracefully executed under one hour. So imagine what we could do when we get more time together. It really pays off when u have the right players on board. I'm so happy with everything that we're gonna keep the line up stripped down. We are gonna come out as a trio for the first half of the show then everyone else will do their thing at the second half of the show. The bass parts thumpin' with Dion's drums it's all starting to sound like live dubstep and drum and bass. There's so much soul, pocket, and groove it's putting me on a new level. I have never been this excited in a long long time besides "Still Chaos" ofcourse that's another story I wanna blog about next time we have a show!! So this saturday is the night to celebrate the official final line up for Genesis Ian's band. After the show we are going in production for my next album and recut all of my best songs into an afro-punk, new wave style with all live instruments. So what our fans will see @ the Viper Room will be an exclusive sneak peak on what our next record is going to sound like. Everyone will witness the making of this seed. So much blessings I gotta thank the universe.Hope 2 see every one there!

THIS RHYTHM SECTION TRYING TO DO A ROCK ELECTRO SHOW IS GONNA BE REALLY INTERESTING. IT'S LIKE HAVING ALL THE PRIMARY INGREDIENTS IN ONE SHOW. I'M EXCITED MY FEELING IS WE'RE GONNA DESTROY HOUSE OF BLUES CONSIDERING THESE PLAYER HAVE PLAYED IF NOT TOURED WITH BIG NAMES. WE HAD THE BEST TIME BECUZ YALL MADE IT HAPPEN.SHOWIN' LOVE FOR OUR MUSIC WE FELT IT SO MUCH GOT ME ADRENALIZED TO SING BETTER THAN I EXPECTED DUE TO MY SOAR THROAT.NO SWEAT RIGHT? We've been hitting the pavement for this project for so long.. I can't believe how fruitful 2012 has been for us.. We are going to be mastering the album this July and should be released by August.. hopefully cause this shit always changes..
