We've renewed our vow...our vow to keep bringing great new and not so new music into our live show. Keep an ear out on stages over the colder months as we work in your faves!

We're realizing a long-time goal this summer by playing most of our shows at beachside/dockside resorts or outdoor events. Check out our schedule at www.followthephoenix.com/watch to see where you can find fun in the sun AND Phoenix Rising!

We're finally realizing the fruits of our recent photo shoot (aside from the fun of a few beers and some goofing around, of course). Look for our new mugshots on flyers and websites near you soon! Trust that we didn't take ourselves too seriously.

Anton turns 25! We celebrated by forcing him to join us in a 5-hour photo session, but at least there was beer! Happy Birthday, Anton!

Our longest running drummer (out of 6 so far!), Len Lechene, has left the band to join Pennsylvania party band Emily's Toybox. We will miss Len's talent and wit terribly and wish him the absolute best in the new venture.
But enough of the past, on to the future! We spent several weeks this fall auditioning candidates for the job and are happy to be welcoming Baltimore native Darren Haitmanek to the group! Meet Darren at the Germantown Greene Turtle on December 16!

We're using our time off the next couple weeks wisely and working up more party material that you've been asking for. Look for some classic stuff like AC/DC, Journey, and G 'n R, as well as new stuff from Bruno Mars, Neon Trees, Theory of a Deadman and more at the coming shows!

We and the management at Sandbaggers have agreed that the wise course is to cancel tonight's show due to the hurricane. Stay safe and dry, everyone, and we'll see you in a couple weeks!

We wanted to get the word out that Friday's show at the Hunt Valley Greene Turtle is still on. We don't expect any effect from Hurricane Irene until Saturday, so let's get out there are party tonight while we still can!
We'll be watching the weather Saturday to determine what to do about the Sandbagger's show. We'll update you here and on our facebook/web sites if anything changes (assuming we all have power!).
Batten down the hatches and we'll see you tonight!
