Norwegian blues-roots-americana star JT Lauritsen will join me Friday Oct 7th at Daddy Jacks 181 Bank St New London CT 9pm and Saturday Oct 8th at Ranchero Cantina 214 Kinderkamack Rd Emerson NJ. Accompanying us will be JT’s band The Buckshot Hunters: Atle Rakvag on bass and “Big” Jon Grimsby on drums. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Members of the Oslo Norway based band The Woodcutters will be doing song tribute to John Lennon with us as well as: Friday, NY State “soulstress” Trish Anderson will be our special guest with us at Daddy Jacks AND Saturday at Ranchero Cantina, NY area underground rock hero Mark Marshall (the guys who taught me how to play guitar) will be joining us as well as some secret guests! Hog Breath Key West
Well….! After a 36 hour trip driving south through the aftermath of hurricane Matthew I’m in sunny Key West Florida for a week of shows at the world famous Hogs Breath www.hogsbreath.com. Wow, last nights show was over the top. My band Lee Venters (drums) & Keith Snyder (bass) was THUNDEROUS! Bitter End & Pinnacle Ridge Winery
Well… it’s been a long time since my last blog. It’s been a fun filled summer but the summer is rapidly ending and its time to get geared up for the fall AND I’m excited about the fall!
This Wednesday Sept 1st I will be back at my old home BITTER END 147 Bleecker St NY NY for a 9pm show featuring Chris Tristram (bassist from GREAT WHITE) and the fabulous Lee Jeffryes on drums. I will be debuting some songs from my upcoming CD UNLEASHED.
Saturday Sept 3rd I return to Pinnacle Ridge Winery 407 Old US 22 Kutztown PA for a 3-6pm set featuring Suavek Z on bass and Lee Jeffryes on drums. Pinnacle Ridge Winery offers amazing wines grown locally in the Pennsylvania countryside. It’s an awesome venue, an old barn that has been converted into a music hall, you have to experience it!
