December really puts me in great spirits. On the heels of hosting an awesome Thanksgiving with family visiting from Alabama, College Station and Fort Worth, I now get to plan for Christmas my favorite holiday. As I type here watching the large tree in front of my tall living rooms windows turn a fiery red like an unfolding painting I can't help but to think about how lucky I am and thankful. My songs have streamed over 1.1 million listens this year on Spotify! My latest song Thicker Than Blood featuring Valimoor is still getting great traction. I will be going to Nashville to spend time with my brother and his family over Christmas. Then fortunately I am going to Banff in Canada for New Years and hopefully will see the aurora borealis for the first time. 2023 has brought a lot of original music. My first two releases will be taking it back old school with a couple of my favorite covers. I hope you enjoy the new singles and videos as they release. A lot has transpired. We hit number one on the New Music Weekly Magazine Indie Top 40 Chart with Pour on Me and our streams are through the roof! I have transitioned to a new gig...more on that later. My title track to the album Electronic Symphonic releases its single this Friday, October 13th with a killer new music video. I hope you enjoy it! The song speaks to the generational bonds and love that bind us together though music no matter the time. The song bridges several genres of music from jazz, classical and culminating in driving electronica. This song was written in collaboration with Corey McCurry and Christopher Lynn Shelton. For Halloween, my son Clark will be using the dark force as Darth Vader, while I shall be a bit lighter rocking my Kenergy as Ken. Happy Halloween!

August has been action packed. My heart bank is full after touring Ireland with my son Clark and spending time in Scotland at my sister and nephews' home in Edinburgh. We will definitely be back. Clark did so great on the journey. In Dublin we went to the oldest pub, Brazen Head where Clark tried fish and chips for the first time. He loved it. We toured the Guinness Factory, saw Temple Bar and paid our respects to Sinead O'Connor at her Bray Beach home. After that we went to Blarney Castle where I kissed the Blarney stone. Clark says now I have double the gift of gab. We saw Cobh's Titanic Experience and the Lusitania Memorial. After that e journeyed to Limerick to pay our respects to Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries grave and her mural. We then went to Cliffs of Mohr - breathe-taking! After a long drive we made it to Northern Ireland where we stayed in the old Harland and Wolff headquarters, birthplace of the Titanic, seeing the last remaining White Star Line ship, the Nomadic and Titanic Museum. We capped off Ireland with a tour of Giant's Causeway - perhaps even more breathe-taking and the ruins of Dunluce Castle.
On our visit to Edinburgh, my sister Kimberley showed us around her hood, Brunstfield Crescent - the birthplace of short golf. We toured Edinburgh Castle. Clark's favorite was the massive canon. Edinburgh Festival was happening with over 4,000 shows. Our crew went to see Tutu - a great piece with guys in tutus. So entertaining! We capped the visit off with panoramic views of the city after visiting the Scotland National Museum and St. GIles Cathedral. Clark truly got his steps in and was grumbling. I told my family they got not one but two shows at the Edinburgh Festival!
More great news. My most recent single Mi Amor (I Had a Dream) has over 63k streams, Pour on Me is #3 on the US INDIE New Music weekly Charts and the album Electronic Symphonic has over 528K streams to date! Next weekend I will writing and recording new music with Valentin, who also played my love interest in the music video for Mi Amor. @newmusicweekly It's been a scorcher in the ATX! So much so I had to vacate to Florida to hang with my buddy Rob in Fort Lauderdale in June and go to Cabo with my friend Heath for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Luckily it cooled off upon my return. My ex was kind enough to pop in on my chickens as they sucked down all their water. I left extra containers too. Poor Chicks! The weather isn't the only that's hot. Pour on Me and its remixes have hit #10 on the New Music Weekly UK Commercial Pop Club charts and now has entered at #20 on the New Music Weekly US Indie Top 40 Chart right behind the Pet Shop Boys. This is so surreal! It's had adds on KSPI in Stillwater, OK, WELT in Swainsboro, GA and Sound Machine in Moyock, NC. We just released the music video and single for The House Remix last month. My new album Electronic Symphonic has 255K streams, Pour On me and its mixes has 86K streams and they keep growing! This month I am so proud to release my first bilingual song "Mi Amor - I Had a Dream." The video is next level, directed by Cutdown Trees. The song releases Friday, July 21, 2023 globally. I hope you enjoy it and find your true love! This song is a dream about finding that true love in a foreign land. Speaking of foreign lands, 'll be taking my son Clark to Scotland and Ireland to hang with his cousins and aunt next month. Sweet dreams and keep cool!

The inner musical theatre nerd in me is chucking over the title of this post. I have been super slammed working to find new business at my main gig. Thankfully, I am getting a reprieve and taking a trip to Fort Lauderdale to spend time with my best guy friend Rob. I may get to see a few other friends while there too including Kris, Kaan and more. I've actually lost 15 pounds using the skinny shot courtesy of Dr. Johnny Franco in Austin. That stuff is miraculous. SO happy to be able to show off abs at the beach rather than my typical dad bod! There is also cause to celebrate as my single Pour On Me and the Remixes by Chico, Valimoor, Lennie Fontana and Klubjumpers has jumped to number 13 on the Commercial Pop Music Week Club Chart! Thank you so much for your support!! Currently auditioning dancers now to gig! If you know of any in Austin hit me up. Also this Friday the Remix to the house releases globally! May Day....we have a new remix to Pour on Me releasing tomorrow, by Chico. I've been super slammed working on getting new business, but the music continues to release. Last Friday I was profoundly blessed to go to be treated to dinner by my best male friend, Rob Wilson at Common Block in Dallas. Super food and views. If you go tell Ben Gingras I sent ya. Rob has blessed me with several amazing birthday dinners. This and my favorite one at Marmalade in San Juan Puerto Rico. That same night as dinner at Common Block there was a crazy storm that tried to take out my honey bee hive. I had to rush back home to Austin to save the bees. Luckily, they are recuperating. Also my new baby chicks are in their new coop. It feels like there are lots of storms swarming but we must continue on. The music video and single to "The House" comes out Friday May 19th. This song was from an emotional inflection point in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read and listen.

July is Hot!
