Great news! I've signed with Bandcamp to sell my next album directly to fans. Will work to get past releases there as well.
Bandcamp is a publishing platform for musicians. Bandcamp both hosts and provides musicians to stream full music tracks and albums to distribute their music. It also provides the platform for fanbase management and statistics, digital distribution, search engine optimization, web programming, audio transcoding, server scalability and internet marketing. As an independent online music store, as well as a platform for artist promotion, Bandcamp caters mainly to independent artists. All tracks can be played for free on the website (albeit, streams only at 128kb Mp3). Artists have control on the price of the tracks and albums. Some artists offer "pay what you can afford" options or "pay more" on products that are discounted by the artist. Associated "bonus" tracks, artwork, mechandise, "hidden" items are also accomodated. And another nice feature is that artists can create coupons, and access to tracks for broadcasters and producers.
okay quick note of explanation ... all the tracks are STREAMED as mp3s...but fans have a choice of purchase for the full lossless tracks in a variety of formats for the same price point: WAV, FLAC, Apple Lossless, AAC and Ogg Vorbis etc

The two images for the front cover and inner tray insert for Mark Chadbourne's new album "Carpe Cardia" were revealed today at Mark's Hyperboard . A PDF File will be posted later for downloading and printing off for online purchases - including a booklet with lyrics and credits, poster artwork and a go-green paper fold-your-own case template.

Mark Chadbourne's next new studio album "Carpe Cardia" is now complete. "Carpe Cardia" has 17 tracks of 21 total new songs which are entirely composed, performed and produced by Mark Chadbourne. Plans for the release date and for the other four tracks are yet to be determined while the cover art is being developed.

"At Loggerheads" is the latest single from Mark Chadbourne's double album "A Bundle of His - Singles 2005 - 2012". Peaking at #1 on Soundclick's charts, it is the second single from the collection to reach the top of the charts.
