When playing basket ball the old turn of phrase is, remember the fundamentals. I believe we need to consider this in Hip Hop today. I personally feel the main problem in the Hip Hop world is that people forget where it came frame and therefore forget loose sight of what made it great in the first place. So on that note big ups to Big Daddy Kane, Melly Mel, Grand Master Caz, Grand Master Flash, just to name a few and of course a huge thank you to all the DJs that even let us Emcees touch the mic in the first place.
