the next show is a go...dec 22 2012...the day after the end of the world...and...the last show at headliners downtown...they were going to close their doors on dec 16 but are gonna stay open for us!...after this they will be a school of rock and a webcast venue only...so thank you headliners...now...at this show we have the honor of having ELEVATOR COMPACTOR comming from vancouver...check out their video from the vancouver noise festival...i think i posted it on my MNH facebook page...also direct from or previously from gabriola THE MASSLESS...and from nanaimo PENTA GONE, KAPITAL and MEPHISTO NOISEHEAD...five bands...five dollars...how can you go wrong...its gonna be a great night of industrial experimental noise! you should come!

Ok...well the show is done...now before i start...i got the gig through an ad on craigslist looking for a band to play a halloween party...i have been told that i should make horror movie soundtrack, so i figured horror movie/halloween, its all good...so...i reply and send a link to the dude...he gets back to me and says cool...what would a show like that look like...so i describe the show...he says great, looking forward...Well...the day of the show we're out dropping off our gear and buddy comes up to me...i noticed that on your site you have two types of music...your gonna play some of the stuff with a beat right?...sure...home to load more sequences and grab the light show...thats when i discovered that the portable light show wont fit in the truck...so used the downsized show and i am going to rework the big one....so...we play first...no monitors but the sound was great and we could hear ourselfs well enough that we made most of our cues...played Larry, Periods, Set in Stone, A song, 3 and finished with urine...was told that we were a perfect choice for the party...then cottonmouth jones played...biker bar rock...excellent!...and finally the band of the host did some wicked pistols covers and ramones covers...for whom the bell tolls and billy idol...good times...then the fireworks...the first rocket exploded on the ground...lots of smoke, screaming people diving out of the way of roman candles shooting off into the crowd...then there was the thing with the car driving to port alberni that became a target...cudos to Rick for being so drunk and still being able to hold his guitar (and deal with the police)...word...and we were paid...in bud lite and jello shooters...IT WAS ROCK AND ROLL!...

Alright...done workin for the man for another week...now let the beer begin...tomorrow nite actually...got way too much to do to do...Gotta batten down the lights and finish the board...move and set up the gear and soundcheck...YES ...WE ARE LIVE...in Qualicum BC at the HELLoween party...first time playing most of the new songs on stage...first time with the new lights...first time with the new stage show...should be a blast...we will have a video...probably not til later in the week tho...maybe a peek...heh heh...anyways...three new GHAL Komplex songs up...DIG EM LOTS!...hopefully that keeps you going til we get back...WORD!

Ok...so the Hell-O-ween party is a go...ummm the other three bands, yeah...one is cottonmouth jones http://www.cottonmouthjones.com/fr_home.cfm ...he fucking rocks...sort of blues e rock e punk e...definately not noies...the second band is the house band at the cambie...nine something mile something high psychadelich mushroom maybe...probably not...but they play pantera covers and shit...definatelyn noise but not like ours...andthe house band i dont know their name are heavier than the second band...i hope they know what we do...so...gonna intro with "day in the life of Larry Adair" then "too Avant Garde for Bob" "The Fine Art of Urine Collection" "Periods Daddy" "LSD Jack" and close with something a little more poppy "Set in Stone"...Were gonna go NUCLEAR FAMILY...Im looking for a June Cleaver type dress and GH is going Ward...hope to project Cold war propaganda over us...oh...and the portable light show is done...just gotta make the controle board...well thats whats been is and gonna be up...Oi!

Well...FINISHED THE OPERA...its up but in the store only, because of size limitations I cant post it on my page...but i did put a chunck of the finished product...i left up the original unfinished piece so you can compare it to the finished work...now...youll notice that i have share, download and buy links for all of my songs...well except the opera and crystaline detox which are too large (i will get a bit of crystaline detox up)...the reason is that i believe that people that like the music and can afford to buy it will, and the ones who cant afford to buy it should still be able to listen to it...some news about live...i am working on playing a runthrough of my live show at a private halloween party on oct 27...gonna see how it comes together and work out any bugs before we take it on the road...also were working on a what i hope turns out to be an all day industrial music event...im looking for about 7 bands now and nov-dec for a date...sometime around christmas would be good then i can have it as my cd release and call it "kill yourself for christmas" (tentative name for cd is "if i was you, id kill myself" shhhh dont tell anyone)...also on the product front...the songs available on the page and for sale are of mp3 quality...when i finish art and liner notes, credits etc and start to package the quality will be wav or better...but time flies when on tour having rum and i gotta rum...soon...
