Coming off 2 in a row outdoor jams that were so hot out it felt like the guitars were damp the whole time and onto the Iron thunder show in Concord was pretty cool experiences. Contests at outdoor shows were fun to watch...I think everyone wanted one of the frozen t-shirts just to cool off...lol...Now its back to cleaning guitars again and putting strings on 'em...they really dont need it but I really dont like the idea of breaking one in the middle of a show...I'll have a night of getting them broke in before the Amos Southend Show in Charlotte where we are lucky enough to open for WINGER...gonna be a great experience in my opinion. Alot of people coming in for the show too...I hope to see ya there any and all shows coming up! See ya out there...

Today at 12:56 CET, the European Parliament decided whether ACTA would be ultimately rejected or whether it would drag on into uncertainty. In a 478 to 39 vote, the Parliament decided to reject ACTA once and for all. This means that the deceptive treaty is now dead globally.
This is a day of celebration.
This is the day when citizens of Europe and the world won over unelected bureaucrats who were being wooed and lobbied by the richest corporations of the planet.
The battleground wasn’t some administrative office, but the representatives of the people – the European Parliament – which decided in the end to do its job beautifully, and represent the people against special interests.
The road to today’s victory was hard and by no means certain.

Back in the days when the HIGHER you got to more intense it was..Now it's the opposite..the big "Cookie Monster Growl' is hot now...but surely as my old stuff sounds DATED to me, (IMO)...The Growl may just DATE 'all' the new stuff out just like the cheap sounding SYNDRUMS that the CARS used to use...You can instantly tell ..Oh, thats from the 80's...LOL...so , I try to write stuff that has 'CLASSIC VALUE' now, that can't be dated by a 'style' or by the 'latest technology out...Enjoy...but do know why I get a slight chuckle in my eye when I watch folks trying to 'HIT THE HIGH NOTES' etc on Judas Priest etc., Jenniffer knows...I went thru ALL OF IT and did it pretty damn good...shutting up alot of singers along the way...but to be honest..I HATE being 'tied to a mic' during shows...Backups is what I like now...Unless it's my OWN STUFF...then it's worth the effort to put out and do the singing...until next time...thanks for reading...ARay

Finally got all the guitars polished back up, and show ready again. Pulled out my RYTH guitar half stack and fired it up...Man, I'm going back to this thing for some of the smaller shows...but will run it in tandem with my LEAD half stack for the bigger shows...Amazing how your ears can get used to a sound over time and kind of lulls you into it being great...when it's actually just ok...LOL...(my smallest setup I used recently)...I think its back to business for me...going with the rough and tumble sound thats been my standard....Also, good things come from FEDEX...should be today...
