The definition of "music done right" is obviously subjective. However, I believe most musicians and artists out there would agree on one fundamental aspect. That aspect is passion. Loving what you do is key in any endeavor in life. I feel the same goes for producing music. You must love and enjoy what you do, regardless if a paycheck is coming from it or not. Do it for the love of the art, the feeling it gives you inside, the release it provides. I guarantee if you focus on those things, you will create better music, and music you can be proud of. Fogging up your thoughts with monetary gain, rather than the art of the music, will only hold you back and put restraints on your creativity. So keep that passion hot fellow artists and lets share our creations with the world!
