A lot of people don't realize that I have been a professional singer for the last 10 years of my life.
I learned a lot in the last 10 years of my music career. I learned how to perform with Marys'Grand, this was back in the late 90's. I learned a lot about blending and harmonizing when I joined the UofC Vocal Jazz. I have learned a lot of everything working with Mike Garces.
I guess what I am saying is that I love to learn and I get excited when I learn new things about music, writing and recording.
I look forward to tomorrow and I hope you do too!

I found last nights show to be one of the most intimate and raw shows I have ever done. Something about an acoustic set always puts me in the right mood.
The sounds was amazing, the lighting added to the mood and the crowd were as silent as can be.
However, last nights crowd was a bit intimidating. There were a lot of fans (thank you for all coming!) and a lot of other Calgary singers/songwriters/musicians. Which really is an awesome part of this community. But for some reason I get pretty intimidated singing in front of other musos as the talent in this city is really UNREAL!!!
Sonal, your band is AMAZING!! Kinjo borthers are a force to be rekon with!! Great night of music!!

The Matt Kee Iphone app has been a great success. I'm pumped about it and I hope all of you who are reading this off the actual app enjoy it too :)
It has been a while since my last gig - with the acquisition of the label, work and life its been tough to gig. Nonetheless, the most beautiful Sonal has asked me to be an opening act on May 15th at Local 522. For details of the show check out the app!
Overall, its been a great weekend with no bumps or bruises! Cant say much for Mosley tonight :)
