Spring? Really?

Hi, Note to self...take advantage of spring like days because winter may still find it's way back. This has been a crazy year. So, we think! Temperatures of 70 degrees one day and then, snow and sleet the next. Now, I know that God gave us each season to enjoy for a particular reason and often times, we complain about every single one. Yep, it's true.

Winter is too cold, Spring has those "bloomin' flowers" that make you sneeze. Summer...well...'nuf said and Fall brings out the mold. Here's a thought, we could take each season by looking at the better things. Winter is a GREAT time to go sledding, s'mores, warm fireplace, good time to visit and have some tea (Okay, so I'm British...). Spring is a time we can enjoy God's glory by experiencing His creation, Summer is the time to cool off at the lake, enjoy warmer temperatures when you don't have to wear flannel. Fall...the time to harvest all the garden items, get ready for winter... and on and on.

In James 1:17 we are reminded that "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." We can count on the seasons each year and throughout our lives.

The point is that we know that God has control of it all. He allows us to experience a variety of things. Mix it up a little...keeps us guessing. Sometimes it is good and sometimes bad...but we can only see it all from our own perspective. Thank goodness...we don't have to keep track of anything like that. Look at your life and hang on to the best, learn from the worst, and trust Him in everything.

Remember, He IS faithful...

Blessings, Jeannie
