Is it harder on the mind and body to be mean and angry or happy and content? Which exerts more energy? I’m sure we’ve all been through a gambit of situations that have tested every possible emotion by now. Me, my favorite emotion is…”sweeeeeeeeeeeet emooooooooooooootion”…plain and simple.

If you have a political agenda and you openly state you’re political agenda then it’s “a” straight forward political agenda…no problem, that’s your agenda. But, if you hide your political agenda and manipulate media to the advancement of your political agenda, in a complete falsehood, then it’s just plain deceivingly wrong! I know we’ve all heard the term “taken out of context” but what is the true meaning of it? In my opinion it’s just “part” of a statement or answer that someone gives freely and is used for a news blurb whenever, and if you want to research further you can find the entirety of the statement which is available almost everywhere now. BUT, if you take the statement or answer and chop it up/leave things out/splice together answerers from previous questions asked, then it’s a lie! It’s a bold face lie! Anyone can take any part of history and turn it around any way they want and when I say history I mean starting with one seconded ago!...I believe we need to be very concerned these days to put it mildly. We need to get the facts, know the facts and make educated assessments of the facts! Not everyone’s a scholar (just look at me) but we all can do our best, to do our best…plain and simple

Do you think my morning thoughts are like therapy for me? Or maybe now that I’m wiser (older) I realize my mortality? Do I need to be liked? Is there a lingering legacy I wish to leave behind? Or is it all just BS while trying to start the morning by shaking out the cob-webs of last night? I don’t know…I like doing it and since my first grade English teacher has long since passed…she can’t hit me with that ruler for my complete butchering of the grammar lessons I was supposed to learn in her class!…plain and simple.

Remember this: Mom yelling dinner time and we all would wash our hands and get the table as fast as we could…and “all” the family sitting down at the same table? Man I miss those times! With everyone going ten different directions at what seems to be like the speed of sound today this is rarely attainable. Now, and I’m ashamed to say, I’ve notified my kids by “texting” that dinner is prepared…and that’s when they happen to be home…how sad is that! I can’t even go to the stairs and yell dinner time!...don’t get me wrong, when I was growing up, we were not a Norman Rockwell painting by any means, but we were a complete family even if it was just an hour sharing a meal…and yes many times I said something stupid or did something wrong that started some kind of an argument that went on and on until my Dad had enough and would jump in like Judge Roy Been and set down the verdict…yet still, I miss those times desperately…plain and simple.
