03-04-15-My Morning Thoughts: “Common Courtesy”
Is common courtesy dead? Did we forget to teach this last couple of generations manners and politeness and respect of elders!...now obviously not everyone falls into this category but there absolutely is a great many that do! Tell me this, how hard is it to teach your child these needed positive attributes throughout life? It’s no different than teaching a child the ABC’s…its repetition and patience’s and love, lots of love. If you’re not going to try then you’re not going to achieve and the worst part of it all is, the tangent will grow even more pathetic with time without the effort!...and if ya don’t have any kids help out your friends kids cause it affects us all...plain and simple.

You guys know there’s going to be the big run for president again starting very soon and the political jargon will be mounting high in just a few months so I’m saying this right now…never judge a guitar by its case, no that’s not it, I mean never judge a book by its cover, ya that’s it…LOL…anyway, read all you can a make the best educated vote possible and then just be like the rest of the 50% when their candidate doesn’t win the election…confused…now of course if your candidate wins, then you selected wisely grasshopper…lol…have a great day all and the nicer we are the finer it will be…plain and simple.

What’s better in the form of listening pleasure analog or digital? I understand digital is easier to work with and near to perfect sound but I got to tell ya, in my opinion it’s thin and there’s nothing warmer than that old analog tape mastered down to that old vinyl album!...this one would take a very firm argument to make me change my mind…LOL!...have a great safe weekend…plain and simple.

I watch the Oscars and the red carpet thing and I enjoy it ok! I like seeing my favorite movie stars and cheering for them and trying to predict the winners in all the categories…but I’m starting to think that maybe the Oscars need to give the sound engineer the ok to use the kill switch on the audio when need be…to many agenda’s these days and I would think that if there’s an awareness these actors truly fill passionate about…da, then make a movie about it!!!!!...at least then I could decide if I want to see it or not…millions of people watch the Oscars and if all the winners got up there and said its cool to be nice to each other I truly believe it would help… although I do believe women should have equal pay for equal jobs, and-“madder”-of-fact, they should get retro pay too!!!…plain and simple.

I am no writer as you can tell but I enjoy writing down some thoughts every now and again. I’ve started diaries and then stopped, I have so many half written songs that I could never possibly finish, I’ve started writing at least 5 books that I’m sure are lost somewhere now…but looking back on those works I can say one thing for sure…at least I tried, and that’s probably somewhat of a good thing…take chances today, why wait…plain and simple.

Many people have said things that their ashamed of I’m sure, but most people don’t continue to spew lies when they realize they are truly lies do they? I mean I’ve lost arguments and have learned from those arguments...so why hound those that have mended there ways…compassion and forgiveness is how it starts getting better...plain and simple.

You know how each snowflake is so similar to the next snowflake yet technically different at the same time…although, when you put them together with just the right amount of moister they become stronger together than alone…if we could make it work with people I would stand in the rain with you for a while…have a great day all!...plain and simple.

I’m not afraid to admit that I do the laundry and the wife washes dishes for the most part. In this age of a two parents need to work to keep the bills paid everyone needs to pitch in or sacrifice’s to get it done. But this is my big question; how come that lint tray in the dryer fills up so fast? I mean I can’t believe the clothes stay together losing all that lint every time! And this is even the bigger question; can’t we use this for something? It’s always so soft and clean you would think you could recycle this stuff and make more cloths!...I think I’m going to start saving it anyway so if someone ever tells me they use it for something else I’m ready to go!...LOL…enjoy the day all!!!...plain and simple.

02-09-15-My Morning Thoughts: “The Yearbook”
FIRST, thank you all for all the get well wishes last week cause I really needed them! Feeling pretty good so far today! Many thanks!!!!.................I was reminiscing with the old yearbook and reading some of the great quotes that my schoolmates blessed me with back then. I noticed some great similarities in the words written…there was a general theme of ‘good luck in the future and stay in touch’. Since then, some of us have stayed in touch, but many I’m sorry to say have not, however I will say this; I am grateful for those good friends and think back often on the times shared and I know everybody can look back and say their days were the best ever…but in my mind our days were and it’s nice to say that as I get older and foggier those days get even better and better…plain and simple.
