If you had the choice of when and where you could have been born would you change anything? I always liked the thought of being a Native American before we discovered what they already had!…plain and simple.

Where do we come up with these kids names? Throughout my life I have met people from all over the world and one of things that come to mind from time to time is there interesting and unusual names. Unusual to me maybe but not so unusual to them, obviously. Some have tradition and meaning like “wildflower’s” or “stands with fist” but some hit me with this perplexing stare into the unknown! There was one lady, Mrs. King that takes the cake in my book. The last thing she saw before going into the delivery room for this glorious occasion of child birth was the non-smoking sign on the door…and guess what she names her child???...Nosmo King!!! Really?????...I guess to each their own!...well maybe it could have been worse like “doorknob” or “employees only” ??...IDK, I think I rather would have been named…the boy named Sue…plain and simple.

Do you think more people remember achievements or disappointments? It’s funny cause, as I’m thinking about it, I remember many disappointments that became achievements somehow. I was always told that we learn by our mistakes…it must be true!...plain and simple.

I was just wondering this fine morning what the country would be like if the government just fixed roads and protected us and the rest was left up to the states? Wow, someone must have played Rush Limbaugh through my headphones last night while I was sleeping…darn kids…plain and simple.

If you’re playing these video games today and you’re over the age of 30 are you considered a legend or an old fart? I mean we had some digital games way back like “pong” “space invaders” “asteroids” but I mean since the game craze became…welllll…crazy! You know those who started playing these games in college 10 or 15 years ago are now prehistoric to the kids playing them today. They probably hear things like “man your pretty cool for an older dude” playing Halo or Halo 27 or whatever…man…I thought I was cool when I still played flag football at 40!...plain and simple.

“ Larry Insana "Endless Road" This singer-songwriter has been kicking around the local scene for years, opening for acts such as Styx, Ted Nugent and REO Speedwagon. Those classic rock connections notwithstanding, Insana's new album, which local power-pop guy Scott Hanson produced, is a real mellow affair. Opening "Nick of Time" sounds a bit like something Willie Nelson might have penned and "'Til the World Slows Down" is as melancholy as its title. The up-tempo "Blues by Bedpost" benefits from some wailing harmonica and Insana's baritone evokes that of Johnny Cash a bit on the novelty tune "Hot Peppers." The party-hearty tune "The 5th Day" verges on Jimmy Buffett territory, but on the whole this album shows off Insana's terrific songwriting abilities. Recorded in both Cleveland and Miami, Florida, the album sounds great, too, as its production quality is first rate”

I’m not sure you know this but I like to play a little golf…my game is not great but it’s not that bad either, usually. It’s kind of a weird game because it’s basically all up to you…no teammates, coaches, referees and for most of us that play…no fans. So basically if you play well it’s your fault and of course if you play bad, consequently, it’s your fault too…There’s no one to blame but yourself. What a crazy idea! Can you imagine Mr. Golf inventor going up to his friends saying I have this great invention for a new sport and I’m going to call it golf! You know “flog” backwards…well how do ya play?...Well, you take one of these club thingies with this blade thingy on the end and hit a very little ball walk up to the ball and hit it again and again until you hit it into a hole…well, why would anyone want to do that?...AND THAT’S THE QUESTION I ASK MYSELF EVERYTIME I TRY AND PLAY!...plain and simple.
