Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had some awesome downtime with family, food, football, turkey and thankfulness.
As I reflect on this past year I am particularly grateful for many things: God who never leaves me, family that has stuck close by, and friends and fans that have been blessed and encouraged by my music ministry and helped to encourage me. There were many awesome things that happened this past year, and with that I am not always 'the hero' and sometimes life is very hard. My new record 'Beyond Eternity's Shore' was birthed out of great passion and great pain. I have lost loved ones, both friends and family, and while I have so much to live for there is still a longing in my soul that can only be met by a Saviour. To quote C.S. Lewis, “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
Today, I am particularly grateful to be writing to you and announcing the launch of my new record, now on iTunes and www.EdFuchs.com. 'Beyond Eternity's Shore' is a 14-track full length album of worship with an alternative edge. It's between the lines of Switchfoot meets Phil Wickham, Red intertwined with Jeremy Camp. As someone said, "If John the Baptist had a band, this is the kind of music he'd be playing."
From the hard hitting melodic opener 'The One and Only' (a sequel to 'The Only One') to the reflective bittersweet ballad 'I'm Coming Home (I'll Be Late)' the album is filled with heartfelt passion. A concept album with reoccurring themes, genre-defying surprises, and at the core of it all - the message of hope. Hope that there is eternal life beyond the temporal, where "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." (Rev. 21:4)
I am happy and privileged to share this album with all of you. For a limited time (as part of Cyber Monday), you can download it from www.EdFuchs.com for only $7.
Buy this concept album - it will rekindle the revival fire within.
BUY NOW at iTunes or www.EdFuchs.com.
Sincerely,
Ed Fuchs

Dear Fan,
How are you? I hope you are doing well and that you realize what a treasure this thing called life truly is.
The time since I came back from Europe has been a blur of a roller coaster ride; moments of high excitement met with low dreads. I am now entering the eighth and hopefully final week recording the new album "Beyond Eternity's Shore." I headed to the recording studio as soon as I returned and haven't missed a beat. I recorded almost every instrument - bass, guitars, keyboards, and extensive vocal sessions -and- watch out for surprises!
You can now hear the single 'All Eyes On You' from the new album on www.EdFuchs.com Get a copy, share, and let me know what you think.
Please pray for us in the coming adventure. Recording this album and stepping into the call God has on my life is a stretching experience. My flesh is met with fear and yet my spirit is secured in faith. I did a Daniel fast in the middle of the recording process, seeking God and his supernatural favor and blessing on my life and music ministry. Join me in prayer that these songs would find their supernatural way into the cracks of the hearts of the hearers to bring healing to the broken and break those who think they are whole.
Sincerely,
Ed Fuchs

“Set Us Ablaze” will finally be available for download and listening pleasure in only a matter of days. Though the time seems relatively close, it also feels dauntingly distant. There have been many long lonesome nights when I have sat and wondered what this dream was for, if it would reach anyone, and why it would never dissipate. From the flute classes in middle school to the heavy hardcore-screaming seven-string-guitar-playing days of metal in Las Vegas, music has been a great escape, a true friend, and an unrelenting “mystery which binds me still.”
There have been many precious people along the way that have helped shape, mold, and influence my character as well as my musical understanding and love for creating - teachers, long time friends, and family, to whom I am eternally grateful for the passion they have passed on to me by doing what they love most. Without you I would be nothing. At times we do not realize how much one of our lives can really reach out and touch another and my hope is that “Set Us Ablaze” will do that very thing…
Creating this CD has been a great adventure. I have had the privilege of collaborating with some very talented and hard-working people that adopted the vision and saw the reason behind it all. From early mornings to late, late nights, from somber moments to hysterical laughter almost on the verge of delirium, this process has birthed great memories, lasting friendships and learning experiences that I will never forget.
As I reflect on the seasons of my soul, I am overwhelmed by gratitude and awe realizing that God has been shaping me for “such a time as this." I am continually humbled as I am reminded of where I have come from. What God brings us into is always greater then what He has brought us out of. I hope that when you hear these songs you, too, will be reminded of how God has been there for you, what He has done for you, and how much He loves you (whether you knew it or not).
