Hello again everyone!
It has been an interesting month to say the least! I wanted to give everyone an update on what exactly I am doing at this time.
I have been recording for about a month now with Zig Productions in Frankenmuth, MI working on my debut solo CD “The Beginning of a Silhouette Dream” and it has been going very well! We have been having a lot of fun working together along with other musicians in the studio including Jeff Rogers (Formally of Kill Whitey) and the CD is honestly turning out better than I have ever imagined it too!!! I have not yet set a release date for the CD or what the track listing is going to be yet because I want to get a little further in the recording process and have some other things lined up before it is announced so please be patient…
You will know soon enough ;-)
Last thing, I want to thank all of my friends for the VERY GENEROUS help you have been providing me in order to even bring this CD to life. None of this would even be happening if you all were not helping me and everyone has been doing a lot but one person I want to thank personally is my friend Ace’s (Using nickname for identity purposes). You have seriously been a huge supporter of me doing music since the day I met you. You have been pushing me to go big or go home and I think out of all my friends and family, YOU were the one who was most excited when I finally said I was going to do a solo CD. I can honestly sit here and say without your help, your very generous donation and your continued support, this CD would have NEVER been started! YOU are the reason this is happening right now so from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for who you are and what you do for me!

So I have decided instead of doing a solo DEMO cd I am going to do a 5 song EP! And it may include a hidden track or it may not include a hidden track; you will have to buy it to find out!!!!!!!!!!!
A couple of the songs with feature guests apperances by other musicians including Jeff Rogers (formally of Kill Whitey) who will be performing the drums on "Making Beds".
That's about all for now except for pre-order on T-shirts has begun. Just send your name in an email to joelprattmerch@gmail.com and someone will respond with the pre-order instructions! Also I will upload the album artwork today! And one last thing....the album will be called

It’s been a while since I have posted so I thought I would give you guys an update! I’ve been very busy with The Finale so I have not been able to do much solo wise. The Finale does come first! Check us out @ www.reverbnation.com/thefinale

I have been debating on what kind of style of music I want to play because I have had all kinds of people asking. Honestly I’ve decided that I am going to write and record whatever I feel like doing….So you’re going to get acoustic, alternative, screamo and whatever else flows through my head…. Listen to what you like and ignore the rest of it :-D
I have posted a new/old song of mine called Beware The Ides Of March. It was a song I wrote and recorded the instruments for Approaching Autumns album that came out 2 years ago. We never got the chance to perform the song and really promote it and its one of the heaviest songs I have ever recorded so I wanted to throw it up on the reverb. This song is not for sale however if you become a fan on my reverbnation you get to download it for FREE!!!!!!!

HELLO! I'M BACK!!!!!!!
It has been almost a year since I have done anything with my solo career and I felt it was time to get something going. A lot has happened to me over the last year so I'll give you the quick run down....
1st- I'm in a new band called The Finale based out of Flushing, MI with Donny Morrison, Lucy Loy, Jim Schramm and Jared Whitman. We have been performing non stop since November and we are just now calming things down a bit with shows and we are recording a filming a couple music videos. You can check out our music on www.reverbnation.com/thefinale and you can always look to my page for any updates regarding The Finale as well as what our show schedule is!
2-Instead of recording a full length album and touring and all that stuff, I'm going to take things slow with this for now because I am so busy with The Finale. This is just my little side project I am doing because I have had MANY emails and facebook messages regarding a solo CD. I will continue recording when I can and I WILL be filming a couple music videos as well. A possible tour is likely in the future but nothing can be set in stone yet because of The Finale touring. However anyone who lives in the Genesee County area I am happy to do acoustic performances at your home!!!!
