Hockey, Wings & Reggae

Now that we’re back from our most recent road trip, it’s time to reflect on the weekend that was…and for those of you who know us, you know how much we love FOOD. So let’s start there… Friday, May 10 we were in Clarksburg, WV at PJ Kelly’s. This amazing, friendly spot is owned by Claude Ryan who was a good friend of Mark’s when he played with the Bridge. After arriving 3 hours early, we decided to hit the bar, play some darts and just hang out. Our bartender Kelly was amazing and Nick cooked us up a great dinner of Chix alfredo and italian salad…mmmmmm. Hungry yet? Alfredo aside, if you’re ever in Clarksburg, stop in PJ Kelly’s and get yourself a meal and a few beers…I recommend the Tiiiiiaaager (Tiger) wings. Amazing. Oh and btw, the show was great too. We opened for the Ohio band Adams Ale who played a spicey style of jam rock and reggae that had even Brittany dancing!!! The next day we shook off the hangovers and headed to Pittsburgh. The day started out great with a plate of Honey Mustard and Sweet BBQ wings smothered in Blue Cheese….yeah buddy! The service was slow, but man was the wait worth it…at Silky’s pub. THEN….the Pens defeated the Islanders in OT to move to the next round of the playoffs. Not all of us are Pens fans…(PETE sure as shit is)…but the win helped put people in a good mood as they came out to drink and listen to some live music. The show was great as we played with our Pitt. buds, Chet Vincent and The Big Bend and The Hawkeyes. BTW…Thanks to Pete’s grandparents for giving us a place to shower and feeding us a wonderfully huuuuge Sub for lunch!!! Here’s the set from Pitt. The Road...new tunes and shtuff

Hey everybody. Ancient keyboardist Mark here. I'm super-excited to announce that we have released a 5-song EP on Bandcamp that features 4 new songs and 1 remake of an old one. It's free to stream and cost "whatever you want to pay for it". So check it out! It will only be available for a short while as we are preparing to record our 2nd album this summer and don't want to give away too much.

And now comes the most exciting news. We are headed back out on the road for a bit. We're also in the process of finding a new drummer and are really lucky to have Dave Master joining us on Friday and Mike Micali playing with us on Saturday! Two incredible groove-masters helping us lay it down and get funky...or something like that. Anyways, that's all for now. Please check us out on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook...etc etc. blah blah... 'till the next time, keep shakin' your moneymaker.
