... hello everyone and thank you so much for your time in reading my Blog ... it's important to me to reach you ... my fans and well wishers ... to some how connect .. to know my music has made a difference in your life ... remember my song, "It's Over" is a free download for the rest of the week for inspiration to you who can relate ....tonight I would like to talk a little about the inspiration behind the song, "Who" which is also on my new CD, That''s Alright .. this song asks some pointed world view questions one should ask of themself .....who will you die for .... who will you lie for ....who will you look to for an answer ... we must look inside ourselves to see whats really there in our hearts and soul ..... inspiration for this song comes from a very serious car accident I was involved in some years ago ..... it changed what was important to me and what was not ..... in made me take enventory of my own self and morals because it all happened so fast.... in the blink of an eye ... briefly .... I was hit by a stolen car in a fast food restaraunt driven by a 15 year old at 50 to 60 mph... he had lost control .... my back was turned and all I saw was the young lady helping me eyes get big and it was over .... there I was with a car and metal on top of me fighting for my life ... after some time of healing I looked back on this event and thought about all that may have been affected by my being gone....family, people like yourselves I would have never gotten to meet .... the little boy i would have never had the opportunity to show how to ride a bike ... the old man I would have never had a chance to help across the street ... the lady I would have never held the door for .... see what I mean .... what was important to me before the accident was now not important .. didn't matter anymore ... and what didn't matter before the accident now became important .... what I did in a days time became important ... who I associated with ... places I went ... all became important .... .... hello everyone ... I'm going to do something different tonight ... I've been asked about my inspirations to my song that I write ... well tonight I'm going to give you all a little of me .... I'm going to share the inspiration behind my song "It's Over"... go listen to It's Over in my song selection..... listen to it closely and I'll tell you about it here .... well here we go... when I was 18 yrs old 2 months after graduation my Mom suffered a bad devorce ...we lost everything ...moved from a nice home that was hers to a small rental property in a rougher neighborhood .... 3 kids in tow ... there we went ... I had to quickly become a man and do what a man does ...I slept alone upstairs and one night bout 2 am I came down the stairs and behind the cracked bedroom door I heard a small still voice whimpering so I very quietly went and peeked in the cracked door.... it kind a gets to me to even write about it ... but anyway ... You know I try to say something in most of my blogs that will help someone other than myself.... you know, share .....tonight I had a great conversation with someone that has really made me sit down and think about some things ..... what would you sacrifice for something you may want badly in life...or to ask another way, how bad do you want it ..... you plug in what ever it is you may want .... some artists would like to have super stardom .... some designers may want to be the very best .... some teachers may want to be the top teacher in the world ... just what are you will to sacrifice to be that ... top dog .... the very best ..... would you sell your soul .... many do everyday ... but then what was the end of the road for those who sacrifice the ultimate? should success and happiness be in the begining or the end of the journey? Wow! something to think about huh? how bad do you want it my good people? Ok with that, I'm out!
