After a few weeks of sharing the songs we are preparing for the upcoming film, "Flames of Fury" ...I am grateful for all the wonderful feedback...thank you so much fir your continued support. Once the movie is released the songs will come out in their final form, both on my second album, "Warrior of Truth 2: The Quickening" and an EP of songs from the movie.
Because of the delay the completion of "Flames of Fury", my second album will also be delayed so that the Film Songs can be included on the disk. Itial previews by friends a selected fans has shown a strong connection to the film songs, so I a, grateful fir a little more time to make sure they are in their best form. Film and Album version will differ slightly, in that a motion picture has a different feel than a rock album. Soften rythum sections with enhanced strings on the movie version fit that magnitude of the story and provide a much broader listener range. But I am a purist, so when the songs hit the disk, they will be more rock melodic, and lessBlog. The only way to hear these songs this year, outside of the LIMITED EDITION promotion copies that were distributed in connection to the film's fundraiser...will be at our live shows. New band photos, new branding and new songs! This has been an exciting month with the addition of Martina Fasano, rythum guitar/sax and Jon O'Connor, lead guitar/vocals to the ARON CROSS line up. We preview our new line up and new look in direct support of ANVIL at the Fox Lounge in Barrie on APRIL 25th, 2015. Well folks a new year has begun. And with the New Year we will be making some changes. Serge and Jacqueline will be moving away from the project band REVELATION 17. We have had a great run and played some really awesome shows with many talented players in the band since the project's inception in February 2013.
We'd like to thank past Revelation 17 members, Lyric Dubee, Danny Lazary, Diane Suite, Anthony Cee, Roxy Rolla, Brandon Kingston, Pete Dove, Eddie Savage and Jeremy Parker for doing an awesome job playing our original music and helping us to build a great fan base in the Greater Toronto Area.
It was truly a privilege to open for world class tour bands like Toronto, Lee Aaron, Goddo, Hellion and most recently, Sebastian Bach.
2014 also saw Serge and I release our first adult contemporary love song. The duet Behind Closed Doors, isn't just a song, it's a song about us; how we met, how we live, and how we love. We self-released world-wide on iTunes June 16th, and feel very blessed to have been produced by the very talented Peter Swann who did some excellent work in Nashville this year with Canada's own, Tom Cochrane.
Serge and I had a lot of fun filming our first self-produced video, with the help of Killer Dwarfs engineer, Freddy "Professor Red Shoes" Duvall. It may seem like someone's back room project compared to the slick video that gets produced these days, but that's us in there - our home movies; little clips from our life together. We share our love because we want YOU to feel what we do.
And let's not forget our awesome Headline show at The Rockpile East. It was my first time acting as promoter, organizer and performer and I can tell you that I gained.a greater respect for all the industry professionals who work so hard in the background to make us look good. Friends, old and new, came from as far away as London, Sudbury Oshawa, Brampton and St. Catherine's, some of you I had not seen in more than 30 years. We have gained so many new fans and friends and we feel truly blessed for those of you who come out to every show. Thank you, it means everything to have your support.
This spring we will be reborn as ARON CROSS.
We will release a new CD, "Open your Eyes", that will include re-produced and re-mastered songs written by both Serge and I. For the first time, all of the songs are being recorded and produced together.
In the summer of 2015 we will introduce our permanent four-piece band and get out there - more often, to more cities, travelling further and further to reach more of you. Hang in there....we are coming...EVERYWHERE!
This year it's time to re-organize, re-prioritize and become who we were meant to be, a kick ass original Canadian band,

Revelation 17 changes it's name to "ARON CROSS"
