Hailing from Poland, the epic black / death metallers of DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS will release their new album, “The I” on September 22nd, 2017 via Lifeforce Records. The album will be available as CD digipak, limited vinyl LP and digital download.
Recorded at various studios, including Dobra12 (drums) and Icaros Studio (guitars) the disc was mixed and mastered at Impressive Art Studio by Przemyslaw Nowak who also handled vocals recording sessions and guitars’ re-amping. The album’s artwork, design and layout were created by Infected Minds. Photo session by Robert Zembrzycki and Pawel Kowalski of Bandphoto.pl
The album features special guest appearances by MERCYFUL FATE / KING DIAMOND’s guitarist Mike Wead and by Norway’s dark metal masters AETERNUS’ vocalist / guitarist Ares. Other artists who also contributed to the record are shamanic ritual meditative experimental act BÖN and Impressive Art Studio’s owner PRZEMYSLAW NOWAK who came up with interludes, additional background tunes and effects.
“It’s been a really long way to be finally able to wrap it all up, countless nights spent on writing the music and lyrics first, then working on the album’s pre-production, followed by what seemed to be never-ending, proper recording sessions, and tones of work that had to be done for the band afterwards. We really wanted this new album to become something really special and therefore, to avoid any haphazard decisions, we let them come out of us smoothly, without putting ourselves under any external tension and stuff. Did it pay off? Well, we’ll see… We surely worked our asses off, pushed things back and forth to get the best out of it. As a result we’ve got something we are damn proud of, something that we believe surpasses on all possible levels everything we’ve done in the past. I simply believe we’d outdone ourselves and recorded something that will cause your hearts beat faster…” – comments Quazarre, the band’s composer, vocalist and guitarist.
The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us by others, with special emphasis on religion and its convictions, dogmas and paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection.

DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS return to Lifeforce Records, new album in September!
Formed in the year 2000 as a studio project and then as a regular live-band six years later, DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS from Poland is a dominant Black Death metal band that’s quickly pummeling through the genre and making their way to fans and media around the globe.
After already having released their 2012 third studio album “Simulacra” with Lifeforce Records we are very happy to welcome back DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS to the Lifeforce Records roster for the release of their new album “The I”, which is set to come out in late September.
“I’m thrilled to work with Devilish Impressions again to hopefully push the band to the next level. The guys in the band are dedicated hard workers. They know exactly what they want, what is needed to reach their goal and their new album is very big step forward musically. In 2016, DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS joins the elite roster of New York based Extreme Management Group, Inc. alongside notable bands such as SUFFOCATION, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ORIGIN, CRYPTOPSY, ATHEIST, RINGS OF SATURN, KING PARROT, INTERNAL BLEEDING and many more. With the newfound partnership, both sides will work together in making the band’s future endeavors the most prominent and impactful with their fans respectively and the rest of the metal genre.

China and Taiwan CONQUERED!
Soooo... Back home after a month-long Adventvs Regis China & Taiwan 2016 Tour. Way over 10,000km, not to count all the flights Warsaw-Helsinki-Shanghai-Taipei and back of course... It seriously was a hell of a ride! We would like to thank each and everyone involved in making the tour happen as well as those who helped it run smoothly: Chen and all at MORT PRODUCTIONS CHINA 号角唱片 for bringing us over to China, our tourmanager Kui aka "Super-Nanny" for taking great care of the band while on and off the road, Kassandra of Inferno for hospitality during our days off in Shanghai, Eric Lee, Ronny and everyone behind the Taiwanese dates. Special hails to all the bands who opened up our rituals both in China and Taiwan. Massive thanx to Andrzej Halupczok and Michał Kowalski Lilla Veneda / Komutator) for filling in as session drummer and bassist - you guys did the job better than expected! Last but not least we would like to thank all the maniacs for coming out and for supporting the band's crusade! China / Taiwan - we shall return!!!

Adventvs Regis China and Taiwan 2016 Tour
DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS are excited to announce the long awaited Chinese and Taiwanese tour supporting their latest releases “Adventvs” (Hammerheart Records) & “Simulacra” (Lifeforce Records). Both records are set to release in China through Mort Productions in September and DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS will be touring extensively in their support.
