...A really difficult weekend!! Here are some moments from ACID DEATH's "Eidolon" video-clip shooting, that took place at ARGO Theater, Athens, on March 10 by IN THE CORE MEDIA. The plan is band's official video clip to be ready till the end of March and to be available together with "Eidolon" vinyl edition and "MisleD 2013" free EP. ACID DEATH would like to thank all the guys that gave their 100% on everything! (Necks, hands, legs and feet are totally broken! George, Nick, Andrew and everyone at ARGO Theater...THANK YOU!!!)

Due to some minor procedural issues that have to do with the collective societies in Greece and Austria there will be a small delay on the release of “Eidolon” vinyl. There is a new scheduled date from band’s label, NOISEHEAD records and it is March 30th, 2013, instead of March 1st
From the same date ACID DEATH will have “MisleD 2013” EP available for free downloading from band’s official site. www.aciddeath.net

“Misled/Deformed Beyond Belief” was ACID DEATH’s split LP w/ Spanish Death Metallers AVULSED. It was released in 1995 by the legendary Greek label MOLON LAVE records only on limited edition-red vinyl. This was band’s first and last 12” release that period that could be described as “The Thrash/Death Days”… Back then it was really “hard-to-find” one copy of this release and the band wasn’t able to promote it due to compulsory military obligations that were a real curse for every band in Greece those years…
After 18 years of its release, ACID DEATH would like to make a gift to every old and new fan. The band currently re-records the material from that split LP and offers it for free digital download. This material, titled “MisleaD 2013” will be available through ACID DEATH’s official website at www.aciddeath.net and the chosen release date is a really important one; March 1st 2013. The date that band’s label, NOISEHEAD records, (www.noiseheadrecords.com) releases ACID DEATH’s latest, 5th official recording, “Eidolon” CD on limited edition-white vinyl!
This move is a little indication of respect to that season, to the contributors of that release but mostly to ALL OF YOU that remember us over the past years and support us today!

John Anagnostou from Greek Thrashers RELEASED ANGER is ACID DEATH’s new guitarist, replacing Kostas GusK.
The band welcomes its new member who has already started working on all the material from band’s early days till today. ACID DEATH would like to thank all the musicians that contacted wishing them the best for the future! At the moment…there is some really hard work to be done!

So, our label, NOISEHEAD records (www.noiseheadrecords.com) will release ACID DEATH’s latest album “Eidolon”, that is out since June 1st 2012 on CD/Digital Download format, on limited edition, 180g /White Vinyl. The release date is March 1st 2013. The album will be available through label’s distribution network and through our official site www.aciddeath.net (also it will be available at local record stores in Greece).
After 18 years of band’s latest vinyl release, the ACID DEATH/AVULSED Split LP (Molon Lave recs, 1995), we are more than happy to offer the album that was the first after our comeback in 2011 in a special edition like that!

Greek METAL HAMMER’s December issue that is out on December 5th is accompanished by an amazing super-collector tribute compilation CD, where some of the most remarkable Greek bands are covering their favorite songs from IRON MAIDEN. Tribute’s name is “Beast Over Greece-A Tribute to IRON MAIDEN”. In this tribute, ACID DEATH has made a Death Metal version of track “Deja-Vu” from IRON MAIDEN’s “Somewhere In Time” album.
