The Nots Prayer

The Nots Prayer

Dear Father God in the name of Jesus Christ:

Please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart & my life!

Remove the have nots, the can nots & the do nots that I have in my mind.

Erase the will nots, may nots & the might nots that might find a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots, would nots & should nots that obstruct my life!

Most of all, Dear God, I ask that You remove from my mind, my heart & my life, ALL of the am nots that I've allowed to hold me back, especially the thought that I'm not good enough!

In Jesus Christ name, AMEN!!!

Mind conceptions

Mind conceptions

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. {Joshua 1:9}

Here is a mental stimulus of tremendous power, which, if received and retained in your consciousness, will give you courage to overcome every difficulty you will face in your life.

Nothing can ever dismay you!

Your probably questioning whether mere words can accomplish such great results, but never minimize the creative force of an active idea.

A mental concept has more voltage than electricity and the Word of God is just too Powerful!

Civilizations have been changed by ideas. Remember, that it was once said "Beware of an idea whose time has come."

Note: Focusing your mind thoughts and ideas towards God will take you to a higher playing field in your spiritual walk, because God will only bless you according to the "level of YOUR FAITH!"

As a man thinketh, so is he. {Proverbs 23:7}

God bless & keep you!

Discernment, not judgment

Discernment, not judgment

"In the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." ( Matt.7:2 )

God has not called us to be judgmental or to set ourselves up as arbitrators of eternal rewards.

We are not in a position to look down on anyone.

But are we to have no moral discernment at all? Yes we should!

But there is a type of judgement that points to others faults without recognizing our own. ""The double standard"" is an indication that we've never really accepted God's mercy.

When we remember the grace and mercy God has had and does have on us, then were able to see others as candidates for mercy rather than candidates for wrath.

We are not to compromise with sin, but we must take a stand from a position of identification with sinful humanity, not from a position of superiority over it. We are to speak as sinners saved by grace.)

How rarely do we weigh our neighbors in the same balance in which we weigh ourselves?

NOTE: Uplift, rebuke & teach in LOVE & MERCY in JESUS CHRIST name, and not by our own selfish standards...

Reputation & Character

Reputation & Character

The circumstances amid your life determines your reputation & the truth u believe determines your character.

Reputation is what u are suppose 2 be; character is what u are.

Reputation is the photograph; character is the face.

Reputation comes over one from without; character grows within.

Reputation is what u have when u come 2 a new community; character is what u have when u go away.

Your reputation is learned in an hour; your character does not come 2 light for a year.

Reputation is made in a moment; character is built in a lifetime.

Reputation grows like a mushroom; character grows like oak.

A single newspaper report gives u your reputation; a life of toil gives u your character.

Reputation makes u rich or poor; character makes u happy or makes u miserable.

Reputation is what a man or a woman say about u on your tombstone; character is what angels say about u before the throne of God!

Make the necessary changes for your own GOOD!

God's n control, chill out!

God's n control, chill out!

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye maybe able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all,to stand. (Ephesians 6:13)

This is 1 of the greatest of all techniques of mental stability (keeping your mind right). It teaches that when we have done all that we can do about a given matter, we are not to get worried or in a panic or be filled with anxiety, but take a calm philosophical attitude concerning it.

When you have done all that you can do, don't try to do anymore just "stand."

Relax, stop, be quiet, don't fuss about it; you have done everything possible; leave the results to God!

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him! (1 Corinthians 2:9)

So sit back and chill out and stop letting worry, doubt, and fear cancel out your faith.

If you honestly gave it to God, then that's all that needs to be done!

Is there anything too hard for God?

NO!

Do you have a....Hopeless Situation?

Do you have a....Hopeless Situation?

All things are possible for the person who has faith in God. In refocusing your attention on God so that all you can see is Him, you will see your impossible situations turn around. A.There is no situation in your life too difficult for God to turn around.

1.The issue isn't what God will do for you, but rather what you have the faith to believe Him for.

2.All things are possible for people who simply believe that God will show up on their behalf (Mark 9:22, 23).

3.Become "possibility-minded."

4.The level of results that you get is determined by your level of faith in God.

5.God will turn your impossible situations around if you will just believe Him.

6.God always looks at a person's heart.

King Hezekiah had a heart that was perfect toward God (Isaiah 38:1-5).

a.A "perfect heart" is one that is always trying to do right.

b.King Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and sought God when his situation looked hopeless. As a result of His seeking God, the Lord added 15 years to his life and gave him another chance (v. 4, 5).

c.To "turn your face to the wall" is to turn away from everything else that is distracting you until all you can see is God.

d.Hezekiah even turned away from the prophet Isaiah to seek the Lord.

e.Turn away from people, situations and circumstances until all you see is God.

f.Sometimes God has to get your attention through different experiences to bring you to a place of seeking only Him.

1.Hezekiah prayed and God heard him. God saw this man's tears and spared his life.

2.God doesn't look at things like man does.

a.Man looks at the outer appearance, while God is looking at the heart of a man (1 Samuel 16:6, 7).

3.God is not holding your sins against you. Once you repent, God forgets about your sins (Micah 7:19).

a.Even when you miss the mark, God still looks at your heart and intentions.

b.Don't go "fishing" for the sins that God has thrown into the sea of forgetfulness. If God has forgotten about them, so should you.

c.Don't allow your past to stop you from moving into what God has for you.

d.Your past sins can't stop God from turning your hopeless situations around.

e.You should not judge other people because you don't know how God is dealing with their hearts (Matthew 7:1).

How to make Godly decisions

How to make Godly decisions

God's Word is the Christian's guide for making Godly successful choices in life!

Before you make decisions, compare your desires to what Scriptures say, then ask yourself the following questions:

1). Would u b able 2 ask God 2 bless it? (Prov.10:22).

2). Could u thank God 4 it? (Col.3:17).

3). Would it b 4 God's glory? (1Cor.10:31).

4). Would it b worldly? (1John2:15-17).

5). Would it b a stumbling block 2 others?(1Cor.8:9).

6). Would it b a hindrance? (Heb.12:1).

7). Would it please God or man? (Col.3:23).

8 ).How would Satan react?(1Pet.5:8-9).

9).Would it edify you?(1Cor.10:23).

10). What would the consequences be?(Gal.6:7).

11). Would it serve the right master?(Matt.6:29).

12).Would His indwelling Presences agree with it?(Jn.16:13).

13).Would u want 2 b doing this when Jesus returns?(Matt.24:44).

14).Would it promote love?(Rom.13:8,10).

15).Have u TRULY sought the Lord about it?(Prov.3:5-6).

16).Have u sought Godly counsel or advice?(Prov.11:14).

U know now!

DRIFTING AWAY?

DRIFTING AWAY?

We tend to"drift away" Spiritually. Its subtle yet SHOCKING when we suddenly realize how FAR we've drifted from God!

The point of departure begins when Satan steals our affection from our loving Creator by putting a deceitful twist on our experiences & causing us to suspect God instead of trust Him.

Consider Job & his wife. Both had PLENTY of reasons to be mad at God. Their children were dead, their fortune lost, & Job's health destroyed! His wife told him,"curse God & die!" But Job replied,"shall we indeed accept good from God,& not accept adversity?" (Job 2:9:10).

There are MANY attitudes that can set us adrift believing that we need more than God to be happy, placing earthly relationships above our loyalty to God; thinking God should live up to our expectations; resisting His reproofs; turning a deaf ear when His Word is uncomfortable!

If you're beginning to drift, remember to stay close to the One Who Is the Source of satisfaction.

STAY ANCHORED TO THE ROCK!!!

"DISTRACTIONS" Just turn away!

"DISTRACTIONS" Just turn away!

Many challenges we face in life are simply distractions from the enemy to keep us from pursuing our destiny.

Maybe someone in the office isn't as friendly as you'd like.

Maybe you have a neighbor who always parks in front of your mailbox.

Those things may be frustrating, but they have little significance when you look at the big picture of eternity. You can't allow the little things to cause strife in your life.

In scripture, just before David fought Goliath, his brother Eliab tried to confront him. But David knew that arguing with Eliab wasn't worth his time & strength. He knew his real battle was with Goliath & he didn't want to be distracted. He simply "turned away" from Eliab & kept his focus on what he was called to do.

Let's follow the example of David & keep our eyes on what's important in life.

Instead of being led away by frustrations, let's keep our focus on God.

Know when to turn away from strife & receive the Mark of Honor that the Lord has for you!

Amen!

Tough Times?

Tough Times?

Have you been heavily burdened?

Have you been deeply concerned?

Have you had money troubles?

Maybe you have lost everything?

And it could be that the reason you have lost everything is that your going through a trial and a test.

How do you know that God is not on the verge of returning to you twice as much as you had?

Just put your trust in God.

DO NOT GIVE UP, BUT KEEP YOUR TRUST N GOD!

You only see where your at, but God sees where He is leading you!

So instead of complaining, just thank God for what you do have and for keeping you from the places that you could be !

When you really think about it, God has been soooooo good to us, way more than we deserve. So if nothing else, just thank God for His grace and mercy and for the fact that He has kept justice from from doing her job within our lives, because if justice took her place, then Lord have mercy !

So in the midst of adversity Count it all joy! {Jame 1:2-8}

Today is a wonderful day, just because.

Love ya!!
