Set your mind on Him, not fear!

Set your mind on Him, not fear!

Set your affections on things above, not on things the things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

Panic! = sudden over powering fright!

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Ps. 27:13

THINK about it, this is so common of our humanness.

I am guilty of this, Are you?

Many times we get so self absorbed with life issues that we can't see what is in front of us.

We (I) must learn everyday, and (I) must set my eye on HIM knowing that if GOD is for me, who can be against me!

HIS Love cast out all fear.

Prayer: Lord thank YOU for YOUR keeping power. Help us to understand YOUR divine will and work within us. As we delight ourselves in the things of YOU GOD. Forgive us when we fail to rely on YOU. Deliver us from self destruction, pity, worry, and distrust in YOU! We give YOU all glory, honor, and praise this day! We give thanks this day for YOU GOD who gives us victory thru Your SON! In Jesus Christ name we pray! Amen!

Tough Times?

Tough Times?

Have you been heavily burdened?

Have you been deeply concerned?

Have you had money troubles?

Maybe you have lost everything. And it could be that the reason you have lost everything is that your going through a trial and a test.

How do you know that God is not on the verge of returning to you twice as much as you had?

Just put your trust in God.

DO NOT GIVE UP, BUT KEEP YOUR TRUST N GOD!

You only see where your at, but God sees where He is leading you!

So instead of complaining, just thank God for what you do have and for keeping you from the places that you could be !

When you really think about it, God has been soooooo good to us, way more than we deserve. So if nothing else, just thank God for His grace and mercy and for the fact that He has kept justice from from doing her job within our lives, because if justice took her place, then Lord have mercy !

So in the midst of adversity Count it all joy! {Jame 1:2-8}

Today is a wonderful day, just because.

Love ya!!

Properly handling situations

Properly handling situations

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. (Proverb 16:20)

To live successfully one must overcome blundering in foolishness, the tendency to do and say the wrong things.

One must develop the handy and skillful touch that makes things turn out right.

A thing does not go wrong because of some perverse fate. It's more than likely that you lack the right slant the proper approach.

If such is the case, what you need is wisdom.

So let today's scripture seep from your conscious to your subconcious mind, it will correct the error pattern within you and gradually endow{to enrich or furnish} you with wisdom!

So basically what I am saying is read the word of God, gain wisdom, and think before you react and you will see a big difference in your problem solving skills.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

What Seeds Are You Sowing ?

What Seeds Are You Sowing ?

When you are tempted to sin, remind yourself that disobedience comes with a price.

Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. From your thoughts to your deeds, everything is a seed that will produce a harvest in your life.

God wants to make sure that the harvest that grows in your life is good, so get in line with His way of thinking and walk as children of light and shine in the darkest of places to be an example as an ambassador for Christ !!!

Have a blessed day ;-)

Light at the end of the tunnel

Light at the end of the tunnel

{Psalm 18:28-My God turns my darkness into light}

Are you walking in the dark? Is there no light at the end of your tunnel-or do you see the headlight of an oncoming train?

Be still. Get quiet. Whats that you hear?

In your darkest hours, listen to Jesus saying, "Been there. Done that!" Jesus, by the grace of God, has tasted what you are tasting, felt what you are feeling, looked into the blackest pit & prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me"Matt. 26:39.

Jesus knows that clutch of fear in the night & the sound of that whistle from the oncoming train!

Grace is God's gift in your darkness. Jesus is grace personified!

Are you going thru a difficult struggle? Sit down & hold God's gift of grace in your lap, slowly untie the ribbons, remove the lid from the box & reach beneath the tissue paper.

ITS PARTY TIME!

In the middle of your trial God has prepared a celebration.

Jesus triumphed over the worst & now He will help you to do the same!

DRIFTING AWAY?

DRIFTING AWAY?

We tend to"drift away" Spiritually. Its subtle yet SHOCKING when we suddenly realize how FAR we've drifted from God!

The point of departure begins when Satan steals our affection from our loving Creator by putting a deceitful twist on our experiences & causing us to suspect God instead of trust Him.

Consider Job & his wife. Both had PLENTY of reasons to be mad at God. Their children were dead, their fortune lost, & Job's health destroyed! His wife told him,"curse God & die!" But Job replied,"shall we indeed accept good from God,& not accept adversity?" (Job 2:9:10).

There are MANY attitudes that can set us adrift believing that we need more than God to be happy, placing earthly relationships above our loyalty to God; thinking God should live up to our expectations; resisting His reproofs; turning a deaf ear when His Word is uncomfortable!

If you're beginning to drift, remember to stay close to the One Who Is the Source of satisfaction.

STAY ANCHORED TO THE ROCK!!!

True Godly Repentance

True Godly Repentance

"Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrow brings death.

" 2 Cor.8:10 "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation" refers to the sorrow for our sins that results in changed behavior.

Many people are sorry for only the effects of their sins or for being caught ("worldly sorrow" ).

Many people will confess their sin only to ease the guilt they feel. But true repentance brings forth change and also bears the fruit of letting go of that sin.

True repentance is knowing that one has offended God and sinned against God, only when one understands that, is true repentance achieved.

God bless you and a have a blessed day!

Be A participants, not just a spectators

Be A participants, not just a spectators

Apostle Paul gave us instructions on how to use gifts as members of the body of Jesus Christ(Rom.12:3-10), he told us about supporting others.

He began by saying we must have a realistic opinion of ourselves(v.3), He finished with a call to love one another unselfishly:Be kindly affectionate to one another"(v10). Be willing to let the next man take the credit.

The things we learn are gifts from Jesus and are given to us to be used by faith(v3,6) in love and service for Jesus not for our personal gain.

May God grant us the ability to hold on with enthusiasm the roles He gives us to do.

Our ultimate goal is Gods glory not our owns.

Churches containing all the parts touches many hearts.

When each part does what God tells it to do they fulfill His purpose.

NOTE: Stop standing around saying your a 'Part' of the body of Christ if your not being a 'Part' of the body of Christ!! Seek out your purpose in Gods will (No excuses), YOU SEEK FOR EVERYTHING ELSE YOU ''WANT'' !

Have a blessed day :-)

Frustrated with life ?

Frustrated with life ?

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)...

This scripture will help you avoid a nervous breakdown.

It will stimulate your recovery if you have had one.

A famous neurologist, specialist in nervous breakdowns, often "prescribes" this scripture for his patients. He writes the words on a card and instructs his patients to commit them to memory and repeat them until they are indelibly printed on their subconscious mind.

The cause of much nervous trouble is frustration. And the antidote to frustration is a calm faith, not in your own cleverness, or in hard toil, but in God's guidance.

The cure of frustration is the belief that God will help you obtain your heart's desire. Trust in God with (all your heart), and you will be able to keep on working in health and happiness for long years to come.

Have a stress-free & blessed day !

Humble despite my storms

Humble despite my storms

Heavenly Father, I choose to thank You for my weaknesses, my infirmities, my inadequacies..

For my feelings of helplessness & inferiority, even my pain and distresses.

What a comfort it is to know that You understand the feeling of my weaknesses, that in Your infinite wisdom You have allowed these things in my life so that they may contribute to Your high purposes for me.

Thank You that many a times my weaknesses cut thru my pride & help me walk humbly with You because You give more grace!

You help & bless & strengthen me!

Thank You for all the ways I'm inadequate, for they prod me to trust in You & not myself!

Remove & change any of my weaknesses, handicaps & shortcomings the moment they are no longer needed 4 Your glory, & 4 my good & the good of others.

But in the mean-time, Your grace is sufficient 4 me, for Your strength is made perfect in my weakness!

James 4:6- God resists the p roud, but gives grace 2 the humble.

AMEN!
