Since before Natural Disaster was even completed and mastered I have been working on a new batch of songs to record, and I'm itching to get in the studio! I have about 25 new songs between mine and my uncles that are begging to be recorded! hopefully soon so I can post them!

Have been spending much time with family and thoroughly enjoying it, and have been jamming with my uncle, who has been very generous in allowing me to use some of his songs for recording and performance. WELL the NMB HIGH marching Band did very well at our last competition on Saturday the 5th, earning a few caption trophies and 1st place hornline. It was a great season and I really enjoyed playing a sax solo on "Pure Imagination"
This weekend I am performing Bad Company's "Shooting Star" for the Miss NMBH Pageant!! very excited about that... it's really an honor to sing with all the beautiful contestants!
In the coming weeks I have two private parties and a possible show or two at Duffy Street Seafood Shack, on Main Street in NMB... TUNE IN

Tomorrow will certainly be one of my busiest days this year!!! From 10 to Noon I am performing on the roof of the Sugar Shack for the Endless Summer Festival on Main Street. THEN I'll be loading up the truck and heading to NMB High Marching Band's JAM FEST'11, to perform for a couple of hours and help with fund raising. If anybody can come to either or both, please do!!! thanks!

So here are a couple of neat things going on: This Thursday I have about an hour long set at the "ChiefStock" concert at my high school. our mascot is a Native American chief, so that explains the title! Also, we are making some cool musical purchases lately, such as some new pickups for my blue guitar (Texas Specials and a Hot Noiseless) and some aesthetic things, and hopefully soon a Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier for a cleaner sound. I hope we find what I'm searching for soon because I plan to start the recording process for the new album in early November!! I'll post definite dates and performances soon!

Well, school has officially started (Junior Year!) but im trying as hard as i can not to let that inhibit my musical ventures. I played a rooftop show last night which was SO COOL. hopefully some more cool things are heading my way this Fall?!

A few years ago, with my friends Nick and Steve Pethel who made up the band The Fringe, I was on the local whimsical news show on Fox called NOT THE NEWS. I recently just recorded some new original material by myself to air on Fox VERY soon!! I'll most definitely post when i find out which night I'll be on TV again!!!

This Friday night in McClean Park, NMB, we are kicking off the local Summer Concert Series, billed as the "Will Jackson Band"
Bring a towel or lawn chair, and come hang out in the park and listen to us play from 7pm to 9pm!!
