New release date for The Prophet of Doom

I have new videos to watch for many of the songs on my upcoming album including, I'll Be Holding You, The Prophet of Doom, Instant Gratification and The Levee Won't Hold. The release date for album, The Prophet of Doom has been moved up to July 24th.

The Prophet of Doom Nearly Completed

I have nine songs completed so far. Monday I return to the studio. I decided to increase the number of songs on the album to eleven. If I have eleven songs, people can get "instant gratification" that will allow them to listen to a song and buy it before the album is released. I needed to come up with a new song that would fit in well with the rest of the songs on the album, so I was inspired to write a new song entitled, "Instant Gratification". I'm going to be launching videos to support the album that has a projected release date of August 1st. Two videos have already been completed, I will post them when the time is right. THANK YOU for reading this and for your interest in my music.

Studio Work in Progress for New Album

Once again I have been busy recording new songs for an upcoming album, which will probably be entitled "The Prophet of Doom." I am very excited about the first five songs recorded I am hoping to complete the album by June. This album is a product of its time. Ruled by Fear is about America under Trump, Prophet of Doom is a song that captures how it feels living through the new reality with an uncertain future. The Levee Won't Hold is another song inspired by the future catastrophe of climate change. Pandemic is about just that, the COVID-19 pandemic and a call to action to use our heads. I Wanted To Be A Rocker is just good old fashioned Rock and Roll. Stay tuned, the show must go on!

Rave review of my album "Thelma"

Thanks for sending the album over, I found both of the songs to be catchy, energetic, with a retro old school rock blues rock Americana vibe in thee style of say John Cougar Mellencamp, Chris Rea, Bob Dylan, Jeff Healey, Chris Issak kinda Americana singer/songwriter feel, very diverse, lots of character and spirit within the song structures, the musicianship is thrilling throughout the album, I think that the songs sound great and you have made a diverse record that I think our readers would enjoy. Good solid vibe, excellent songwriting, and fabulous vocals throughout.

Look for a new album entitled "ABIDE" in November

I have completed recording a new album entitled "ABIDE" and the CD is currently in production. This is my most exciting project yet, and it is more musically complex than my other albums. Donny Hammonds provided percussion, bass, lead guitar and Keyboards. I was also honored to have Saunders Jones Jr. contribute some very nice saxophone tracks.

Performing today at Paddy's Kennesaw

I will be joining my friend Brian Frey today at Paddy's in Kennesaw. The music starts at about 6 PM. Next week I have a gig on the 20th at Tower Burger in Alpharetta. I will begin about 7 PM.

Long Neglected Reverbnation Profile

I am HORRIBLE at keeping my online content current. Really Facebook is the only place I have a pretty good record of promoting my shows and sharing news with my fanbase. Since the last post I have had several gigs and released a new album, No Place Cool (look for it on iTunes or CD Baby). I have been performing with Brian Frey (Ballad Brian). The next confirmed gig in the works is September 16th at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee in Roswell, GA. I have written a few new songs since the release of my album including Wake Up, I've Got My Friends and Don't Gun Me Down. Thanks for being a fan!

New Live Album, "Live from Atlantis"

You've got to hear my new album, Live from Atlantis. It is close to an hour's worth of music, 17 songs, 5 of them acoustic versions of some cuts from my album Walking in the Morning Rain. The remaining twelve are new. This is recorded as though I am playing at a club or cafe - I introduce each song and in the background are the sounds of a live audience.
